Light took a breath. He really wished he didn't have to do this, well, he wanted to...but wasn't sure how it would go.  "Light-kun?" He looked at L, and he appeared to be pondering the same thing. Light knocked on Misa's door...

"Liiiiiiiight! Misa was so worried about you honey bunch sugar plum pumpki-umpky-ump-kin!" Light hated whenever she said that. "Misa, listen...we need to talk..." He saw the blonde's face go from hyper to crushed in two seconds flat. "What about cuppy-cake?" Light sighed. "Listen, Misa, there's no easy way to say this..." Misa cut him off, "I KNEW IT! YOU'RE BREAKING UP WITH ME!" Light looked truly shocked, "How did you know I was gonna say-" "'We need to talk...there's no easy way to say this!?!' You think Misa is stupid? Those are break-up words!" "Oh...I wouldn't know...I've never done this before..." "You wouldn't have to if you didn't want to break up with me! Why Light? What did I do? There's someone else isn't there? WHO IS SHE!?!" Light paused. Misa was gasping for breath from all the screaming she'd done. "I don't like another girl...the one I like is..." Misa suddenly realized L was there too, watching Light with a solemn expression. "It's Ryuuzaki...isn't it?" "Misa look-" "I can't believe I lost my Light-kun...to another guy!"  "Misa, I'm sorry it's just, well, me and Ryuuzaki..." God, how do I put this?  He thought. "Oh, no need to explain! Just get out of my sight NOW!" The two boys looked at her shocked, as she ran to her bathroom to fix her running makeup. "I have to clean up now! My photo shoots in an hour! WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE!?!" "We're leaving!" They said almost in unison. After they left the room, L chuckled a bit, "Where do we go now cuppy-cake gumdrop shnockems- bookems?" He said very sarcastically. "SHUT UP!" Light yelled!

Mean while the Cheif and the other police officers were in shock at all that had happened. "My son...likes Ryuuzaki?"

After Misa's photo shoot her cellphone rang. "Hello? Go away Tamaki! Now's not a good time. Yes, me and Light broke up. Why? He fell in love with someone else! Her name? He doesn't have a new girl! I know what I said! RYUUZAKI! Happy now? Yes, I know that's a guy's name...HEY STOP LAUGHING! TAMAKI? TAMAKI!?!" She hung up angrily and let out a loud, "GRRRRR!!!"
