FIVE FINALISTS HAVE BEEN CHOSEN!!!!
TOKYOPOP & Pocky want you to get your creative juices flowing! Submit an original piece of artwork or a 1-3 panel comic that includes images of Pocky--you can create a box of Pocky, characters enjoying Pocky, or an intriguing Pocky world! Five winners will be chosen to win some amazing prizes!
How to Participate:
Total Size: 10 MB
300 jpeg, at least 5” 7”
Art submissions must be either a piece of artwork OR a 1-3 panel comic
Submissions should be digital format and must sent in .jpg file format to fancontent@tokyopop.com
***The last day to submit your artwork is July 1, 2009***
Your artwork will be judged by TOKYOPOP & Glico Pocky staff!

The winner will take the grand prize of $1,000!!!
2nd - 5th place will get notable winner $20 Borders Gift cards.

Narrowing down the entries to five was a difficult decision for the judges, as we had more than 150 entries, all of which were excellent, so you should be really proud! But our five finalists have been chosen! Take a look at the amazing art of the five finalists!! And again, Congratulations to the finalists!! Well since everyone is confused as to who won it was the very first one with the vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry girls. I was one of the finalists, mines the Got Pocky one, and I had my friend tell me who won since she was at Comic con. I honestly thought this one would get in http://modern-swinger.deviantart.com/art/Magical-pocky-lol-127918542. Im really surprised it didn't! Mine was kind of last minute and I'm very surprised it got in at all!

PS... I spent 3 days and 3 nights on my drawing on the last 3 days before the contest ends. I don't have much time to work on it earlier because of school. >B(

To LOVESANIMEGUYS, Coloring images digitally isn't easy you know. I would know since I've been doing it for years. B( Sure, you have tools and brushes on computer programs taht makes it easier but it's hard to use it properly and the way you wanted to. Sure I can do it traditionally, but I decided to work on my entry digitally because it's what I work best with. Besides there are some free digital painting program that you don't have to pay for. So anyone can have one; you just gotta find it.
