"CLEAR!" *shock* "Is there a beat?"

"No, Nothing."

"Clear!" *shock*

"There's nothing."

*sigh* "There's nothing else i can do... it's been 2 hours. i'm calling it. 12:35am."

"Kiyaha Sebene, please"

"Mr. Tsubenisha, welcome back."  The nurse gave me a smile, "Urm. Please sit down, someone would like to talk with you."

     Ten minutes later, a tall doctor came towards me.

"Senjikah Sebene? Hi, i'm Doctor Lee,"  The Doctor held a hand out n i shook it.

"I'm here to see Kiya," I said.

"Yes, I know. But you see...last night--"

"Someone told me that everything would be alright."  Panic ran through me.

"Ms. Sebene--we lost her at 12:35 this morning."

*BLANK*

Total nothing came to my mind. Shock--It, I couldn't believe it.  It wasn't possible

"Mr. Tsubenisha, I know this mut be difficult for you--"

"Can i see her?" My voice was going out.

"Of course."  The DOctor led me to the room that i've been in at least thirty times.  "I'll leave you two alone."  The Doctor left.

What should i do now?  Everything just came down on me.  A Huge pain in my chest, it hurts so much.  I felt as if... life was cruel. I went to lay down with Kiya and cried.

When i woke up the lights were dim.  i looked at Kiya--she was breathing!

"Doctor! Nurse!"  i screamed as i jumped off the bed.

"What is it?"  The nurse came in.

"Kiya--she's--"  I couldn't believe it.

"Oh my.. DOCTOR!"  Everything happened so fast, everybody was moving around.

"Mr. Tsubenisha, I'm sorry but you have to leave."

"Kiya, she--"

"She'll be fine."

"THat's what someone told me last night but i came back finding out that she's dead!  I'm not leaving her this time."

The Nurse just looked at me... "Don't get in the way," She said.

"Everybody back away," Doctor Lee yelled out, "I need a mas, get me some tanks--move it everyone!"

     I watched as everyone moved about.  They put a mask around Kiya's face and there were so many movements going on.

"Clear!!" Beep Beep Beep "60 over 90"

"One more time, Doctor."

"Clear!"

"110 ove 90! She's even!!"

Chapter 11

Nina rushed over as soon as SEnji called her.

"She's alive?"

"Yeah, the Docots are checking up on her health right now but they kicked me out."

"I can't believe it!"  Nina cried into her hands.

"I couldn't believe it either..."  "Once i saw Kiya took the breath, everything in me just went... alive. There was still hope.. another chance... There was so much joy in my heart--i just couldn't believe Kiya came back.

"Mr. Tsubenisha?"  Doctor Lee came over.

"How is she?" I asked

"Ms. Sebene suffered a bit of brain damage."

"Will she able to remember me?"  The thought of her not remembering me had hurt so bad.

"I don't know yet, but would you like to see her?"

"Yes."  Nina came up to my side and we both followed Dr. Lee into the room.

"Ms. Sebene?"  Dr. Lee knocked on the door.  When Nina and I stepped inside the room, the Doctor left us.

"Kiya?"  Nina ran beside her and hugged her.  I walked up to her slowly.  I was afraid she might not remember me, but i kept reminding myself that everything would be alright.

"Hi," I said.

"Hello," she said back, "Do i know you guys?"

From that one sentence, my world shattered.  i heard Nina crying and i saw her run out of the room but... But i couldn't do anything... except stand there...

"Kiya..." My voice was cracking but i kept the tears inside, "Don't you remember me?"

"No, i don't."  Kiya looked at me as if i was crazy, "I don't even know you..  How can i remember someone i don't know?"

"Kiya..." the tears were in my eyes... She's forgotten about me... I took her hand but she only jerked it back out of mine.

"Don't touch me," she said.

"Kiya, please... It's me--Senji.  Senjikah Tsubenisha."  I  took her hand again and held it tight.

"I told you not to touch me!"  Kiya tugged her hand but i couldn't let go, i wouldn't.  I don't want to lose her again.

"Let me go!! Help!! Someone!!" She kept yelling.

The docots came in... and so did the tears.

"Kiya... Tell me one thing... " I looked at her as the Doctors held my arms, "Do you love me?"

"No, I don't love you."

I dropped her hand and allowed the Doctors to drag me out.  When they let me go, i dropped to my knees and cried. Kiya... she doesn't remember me... 'I don't love you.."  The words kept echoing in my head..........
