Sam and her family had lived in Snellville, GA all of their lives. She and her family are moving to Japan. Her parents received promotions to work in Tokyo, Japan because of their amazing technological skills. Sam is very excited about going to Japan. She had always dreamed of going there. She had watched anime (Japanese cartoons) since she could talk. She also read any manga (Japanese comic book) when ever possible. After watching anime and reading mangas for most of her life, Sam could read, speak, and write Japanese fluently. Sam was sad too, she was leaving behind everything she knew, her friends, her home, and her American culture…She’ll miss it all but now she’s going on a new adventure. This adventure will change her life forever…….
After Sam’s family finished packing everything, they all went to sleep in the living room. This would be the last night in their old home. That night Sam had a dream. In her dream, a mysterious looking figure appeared. Sam was scared, but some how knew the mysterious figure would do her no harm.
    “Sam Jasmine Lee, you have been chosen as one of the Meco Warriors to keep the world from destruction. You were chosen since your birth. It is time for you to release your true powers.”
    “What do you mean? Meco Warriors, my true powers, since my birth?”
    “It all will be revealed to you soon enough”
The dream ended. Sam woke up. Still dazzled by her dream she got up, got dressed, went to the old kitchen to grab some breakfast. It was time to hop into the car and drive to the airport.
Sam and her parents are settled in Tokyo now. They live in a penthouse on the square. Sam walks to school every day with her friends Hanon and Sakura. They all live in the same building, go to the same school, and are in the same grade. Sam and her friends thought after school they would go hang out at the library to study and do homework.
    “Hey, Sam, how’s Meria?”
    “She’s good, Why do you ask, Hanon?”
    “I just wanted to know how that fur ball was doing She is so cute”
    “Ya, your cat is so cute.”
    “Thanks, Hanon. Thanks, Sakura. Hey ya’ll let’s go to the textbook section I forgot to bring my math book with me.”
    “There you go again with that ya’ll thing”
    “What is that suppose mean, Sakura?”
    “Ya’ll that is a strange word.”
    “Well I think some of your words are strange too but I don’t say anything”
    “Hey!”
    “Well let’s go get a math book ya’ll”
Sam, Hanon, and Saura all go to the textbook section. While looking for the math book Sam notices a book that reads MECO WARRIORS.
    “Hey, ya’ll remember that dream I told ya’ll about a while back?”
    “Yeah!”
    “That is the name I heard in my dream, lets look at it”
Sam grabbed the book and it started to glow. Then all of them heard a voice       “Welcome Meco Warriors.” Then the room changed, it was no longer a modern day library but a mystical looking library. It was like being in the Middle Ages. A man appeared and he looked like he was in his early twenties with a cloak down to his feet, his hair was spiked up and he wore a weird looking crown on his head. He turned to them and spoke.
    “Welcome, I am the Meco Wiseman, but you may call me Jin. You have been chosen to be the new Meco Warriors. There is an evil entity coming called the Zin. The Zin want to destroy the Earth because they are jealous of its beauty. Their planet, Pin, is covered by poisonous vapors, filled with vile, dreadful monsters and demons. The Zin tried to take over the Earth a hundred years ago that is also when the Guardians of Earth granted three humans the powers of Meco to  banish the Zin. They were called the Meco Warriors. The first power of Meco is the “Power of Mind”. This power can move objects, uses telepathic powers and creates mental weapons and shields. The second power is the “Power of Fighting”. This power gives you skills of every fighting technique known to the entire world. The skills of fighting may include different elements that are expelled through your body. You also are equipped with the knowledge of how to use any weapon or fighting gear. The third power is the “Power of the Beast”. You can summon any animal to fight or become the animal yourself. The past Meco Warriors succeeded in banishing the Zin, but the Zin have broken the seal that trapped them. The Zin have returned for revenge. Now, it is your job as the Meco Warriors to protect Earth. You must release the true powers of Meco and beat the Zin forever.”
    “Ummm…Jin, are you sure it’s us cuz? I think you’re mistaken. Me, Hanon, and Sakura? Do not have these powers you speak of.”
    “Yes you do. You just haven’t let them out. Sam you have the power of mind, try to lift that book on the table.”
As Sam closed her eyes it seemed she was in a different world. It felt like she had been here before and then without realizing it she was lifting the book, then she set it down and opened her eyes.
    “I did it? I did it!! WOW this is cool!!”
Hanon you have the power of Beast. Call forth an animal.”
Hanon was about to ask how but, she yelled in a language she had never spoke in before
    “Sa Meco Puko Meria”. Before them, appeared Sam’s cat, Meria.
“Did I really do that?”
    “Yes, you did Meco Warrior. Now, last but not least, Sakura, you have the power of fighting. Attack me now!”
Before Sakura could say anything she was dodging kicks, flips, punches, water, fire, dirt, and air. She was also fighting like she was the master of a Ninja school. The fight ended.
    “Now, do you believe that you have powers?”
    “Yes, I think we believe you Jin” Sam, Hanon, and Saura said in unison.
    “Now you must learn to change to your Meco forms. Here take these.”
Jin handed them each a necklace. Sam was given the first necklace. The pendent was a star surrounding a heart. Hanon was given the second necklace. The pendant was shaped like a monkeys head. The third necklace was given to Sakura. The pendent was shaped like a double edged sword.
    “Now put them on say ‘Meco Warriors arise’.”
All of them repeated the words. They all transformed into their Meco Forms. All of there pendants had transformed into tiaras with the pendent as the center jewel. Their hair was in a ponytail, they were wearing bodices with long sleeves. Their skirts had a split down the side to their ankles and they were wearing high knee boots. All of their outfits were a different color. Sam’s is red, Hanon’s is blue, and Sakura’s is black.
    “Now that you know how to use your powers there are a few rules you need to know. You are to only use your powers to stop the Zin, do not reveal your true identities, and come when called to fight the Zin.”
    “How will we know when you are calling us?”
    “Your pendants will let you know.”
    “Jin”
    “Yes Hanon?”
    “What do the Zin look like?”
    “The Zin can transform into many shapes, but they normally look like Ogres with elf ears, and short tails. Off you three go. If you need me, just get Sam to
contact me, okay, Bye.”
The girls now were back in the normal library walking back to the table to get there books to go home.
    “Hanon, Sakura, did that really happen? Out of no where we become the saviors of the Earth. I guess we’re not going to be bored anymore with this save the world thing.”
    “You’re right Sam.” Hanon and Sakura replied.
After the girls walked back home and went to bed. Something was up and up to some thing. It was the Zin warriors.
    “Zo, are you sure this is a good idea? The Meco Warriors are so close? I mean trying to take over Earth from right here.”
    “You worry too much, Ji, they have just realized their powers. They aren’t ready for any kind of battle.”
The Zin are ready to take over the Earth. I guess having trillions of years to plan their revenge didn’t hurt them.
Jin was up and noticed the Zin were up and moving. He contacted Sam and the others to wake up and prepare the Meco Warriors to fight. All three of them said the words.“MECO WARRIORS ARISE!!!”
After the girls met up with each other, they flew to meet the Zin face to face. They must stop them from taking Earth.
    “Zo, the Meco Warriors are coming!”
    “Let them come. What can they do to us now?”
    “Zin you will not take over Earth as long as there are Meco Warriors around. You will lose.”
    “Bring it on Meco Warriors.”
After those words, the fight began. Sam was shooting mental arrows, Hanon had turned into a lion and was clawing the Zin soldiers to bits, and Sakura was doing her kicks and punches at the Zin warriors. Once they had beaten all of the warriors, they went to fight the head Zin Warrior Zo.
    “You Warriors. I guess you think you can beat me? Bah, what fools you are! My warriors were just child’s play, I am a different story. Try your luck with me and you may not live another day.”
    “We are willing to take that chance Zo.”
They leaped into battle. The girls were being slaughtered by Zo. They couldn’t move fast enough to dodge his attacks. They almost gave up, but Sam had an idea. If she could break into Zo’s mind, she might be able to anticipate what he would do next. She closed her eyes and concentrated. She fought all of the mental barriers in Zo’s mind. She was almost there and…finally she broke through. She could read his mind. Zo was on top of her friends about to deliver the final blow, when Sam sent a huge a light pole crashing down on his head. She defeated the Warrior Zo. The Zin had been defeated.
    “Yeah, Sam, Sakura. The Zin are gone!”
    “Ya’ll I don’t think this is the end of the Zin’s revenge. This is only the beginning we have just scraped the surface of our troubles.”
