Both Sasuke and Naruto stared at eachother, shocked.

"Do something fool! don't just stand there looking stupid!" screamed sasuke. naruto wiped the expression off his face and got in position for a jutsu.

"Shadow clone jutsu!" suddendly 4 more naruto appeared, 2 of them ran off the edge of the cliff, while the other two remained above, waiting. The two above waited untill the other two below captured sakura, but it was too late. naruto and sakura's body hit right into all the pointed edges of the stone below. at that moment sakura woke up and screamed at the top of her lungs, not only because of the pain, but relization came to her when she saw the blood coming from her back, where she had landed.

Sasuke stood above, man standing right in front of him.

"well, well. what a dissapointment, seems like your friends died. my my, more and more surprises keep coming, huh sasuke?" said the man, with a smirk on his face.

"I'll wipe that disgusting smile off your face, fool!" said sasuke as he ran toward the man, leaping up ward, kunai in hands. the man reacted quickly moving aside and making several handsigns that sasuke could not see because of the darkness. suddendly, an even darker and denser mist surrounded the two of them. one standing still, waiting. the other, thinking, just landing. a few seconds past before the man finally spoke:

"those who have ears can hear.............can you hear me? those who have eyes can see................can you see me? light came into the darkness, but the darkness didn't understand it. soon the light killed everything dark. can you kill? hate? destory? love? and if that dosn't make sense, its not supposed to."

"what kind of sick game are you playing here?" asked sasuke, enranged from lack of understandment.

"listen to me, your not listening. will you listen to me now?"

"I'm sick of you and your big mouth, just attack already so i can kill you!"

"your not listening to me, listen. LIGHT came into the DARKNESS but the DARKNESS didn't understand. soon the light killed everything dark. have you listened yet? do you understand now?"

"i don't see what your telling me!" screamed sasuke. he was tired, tried of losing, waiting, not understanding.

"Chiodori!" sasuke screamed and headed for him. moving from side to side and zig zaging so the man couldn't tell which direction to move toward. just as he and the man would collide, sasuke dissappeared. the man felt a rush of pain come from his back. so that sasuke had been only a clone, huh? the real sasuke had hit him with the chiodori from behind. how foolish he had been, not to see their plan at once. the shadow clone jutsu in fact, produced 5 clones, not 4. two which distracted the man by jumping off the cliff, while another one, jumped off the other side and captured sakura returning upward while sasuke faught. one of the other two turned into sasuke and replaced him, as the man still looked down. as if on cue, naruto appeared with sakura in his arms out of the other side of the ciff.

"Good, your back. now lets finish this fool and go." said sasuke. naruto smiled, one of his exagerated smiles and gently put sakura on the ground. sasuke stared at the man before him, or at least his hand.

"Your still not listening, listen to me!!!!!!!" cried the man from the top of the tree, looking down at naruto and sasuke's real shocked faces.
