A bar room brawl brings the law and the knight faces a date with the gallows. Unwilling to let the stranger die for crimes he did not commit Marion and her trusted friend Little John grudgingly ride to the cad’s rescue. Against his better judgment, now wanted with no place to go, in the hope of somehow making a quick shilling and hooking up with Maid Marion, he reluctantly accepts the mantle of Robin Hood.
