Produced by the talented manga-ka Oh!Great. This manga won the Kodansha Manga Award in the shonen category in 2006.
Plot:
Itsuki Minami or "Ikki" as he's known by friends is the "Unbeatable Baby Face". Getting this title from being the leader of the infamous gang, the East Side Guns. Coming home from being beaten by another gang of Storm Riders Ikki is revealed a secret that has been hidden from him by the people he is staying with, the Noyamano sisters. This mismatched group of girls are all members of a great Storm Rider gang called Sleeping Forest.
The sisters give him his very first pair of Air Trecks or "AT" which are basically high-end, customizable and motorised inline skates (like rollerblades). These are the items used by Storm Riders to "fly" and battle it out against each other. Practicing hard as to get as skilled as possible on his AT's Ikki manages to acquire enough skill to beat the Storm Riders that had embarrased him at the start and settles the grudge between the two.
Determined to find his own road and take flight, Ikki is sucked into the mysterious, bloody but irresistable world of Air Trecks.
Art: I really love Oh! Great's style of drawing, there's something very appealing about it and he can draw very engaging battle scenes which both genders will like to watch.
Rating: 9/10 I can't stop reading this manga and it's one that I can read over and over again. I'm a regular shoujo reader so when I first picked this up I didn't think it would suit my taste but I couldn't have been wrong. It's not all about action and it has a powerful underlining story about courage and chasing you dreams that will appeal to readers, backed up by some fantastic character designs this is a must read!

Rollerblades, tricks and a license to thrill! This shonen manga is definitely a must for both shonen and shoujo fans.
This is one that I did try and didn't really get into. The art in my view was not what I like to see in manga. I did not continue to read after the 3rd volume.
