I BELIEVE IT! Sasunaru!
Misamashi Kishamoto is purposely ambiguous when it comes to Sasuke's sexuality. He will probably end up straight, at least in the American adaptation, because yaoi has as large a following as normal Shonen manga in Japan. Because of national cencorship laws, if Sasuke does turn out to be gay, it is likely the series will not continue on Cartoon Network. However, Kishamoto has even been quoted in saying "Sasuke's sexuality isn't the driving force of this series, not in my opinion anyway, but I don't really have his character figured out. He is an enigma, even to me, and for all I know, some one sided feelings for a certain blond could be surfacing in that thick skull of his. I've been sent enough fan letters requesting that Sasuke's sexuality be revealed, and some tell me just to pair him up with Sakura...I believe Sasuke's character has a mind of it's own, but the truth will be revealed-even to me...because I havent a clue!"
