Al finally got his way.

He tricked his brother into buying him a cat.

He gets his body back, and the first thing he does in get Ed to buy him a cat.

I don't think he meant to guilt Ed into it, but he did. And he suffered his fist cat-related injury when he got home from the hospital. "ED! BROTHER!!!" he screeched, and Ed dropped the frying pan he was using to make breakfast and ran to their room.

"Al..." Ed shook his head at the tiny bit of blood dripping from his brothers' finger. "You have to be careful..." He made his way towards his brother, dish cloth in hand, and pressed the cut closed.

"Ow..." Al whined, staring down at his cloth covered finger.

"You can't play with...what'd you name him again?"

"Reid"

"Yeah, well, you can't play with Reid like that. You're not a suit of armor anymore." He removed the towel, seeing the cut was closed, and fixed it with a bandage. "And, why did you name him Reid?"

"It's General Mustang's middle name."

Ed choked "Why the hell'd you name him after Mustang?"

"Dunno. Cus he has the same color fur...?" Al said. "Calling him Roy would have been...or even Mustang...I asked him what his middle name was the last time I saw him and he told me Reid."

"Oh, that's right. He keeps calling for you right?" Ed said dryly.

"He keeps asking for you. You really should talk to him. Just talk to him. He's worried about you." Al pleaded

Ed scoffed "That's bull. He's going to try to talk me in to joining the military again..."

Ed stared at his brother, who was now unconcious on his bedroom floor.
