2.0 the good the bad and the ugly...
Hi everyone! well, it's been awhile--I've been communicating via PMs and comments and stuff but not a blog entry. it's time i make one!
anyways, for all of you that are visiting the site and riding this new wave with us--thanks so much!
i have to be honest: the site is definitely confusing. but this is a beta-test and all of your feedback is giving us the ideas to make it way easier to use. and the technology behind this one is much stronger than the last site so we can do tons of cool stuff soon.
so for those who miss the old site: i totally feel ya and agree it was easier but i also promise this one will blow the old one away soon.
if u don't want to wait until we've got it down, we'll email u when it's ready and we feel comfortable. but in the meantime there's tons of fun to be had!
here are a few tips based on a conversation i just had with Pandagal1:
-- upload pics or other stuff: go to your profile's journal or portfolio then clip on the tab you want on the right (like Illustrations or Blog etc), then on the top right says "POST NEW". I know it's really hard to find--we will make it way easier very soon!
-- your pics: will be in Portfolio under Photos or Illustrations (depending on where u had put them). yup, this one is also too hard to find. we will make better soon!!
-- Clans: these are like community groups. you and your friends can join a group and communicate via posts, etc. this is a new feature and one we'll be enhancing over time.
Jim and the our other staff will also work with everyone to get your feedback and make fixes and improvements.

old layout was better, but this is easier to use. I still like the old one better.

If only the main tabs had a landing page, and all the sub nav tabs took you straight to the gallery or listing page navigation would be MUCH easier. Site runs better and looks ways cooler than the old piece of crap though!

I don't mind this site but I lost all my comments and views on here...how come some kept their profile views and others went down to zero...mines still at zero...that's the only complant I have...
