So, I finally got the email from Shireishou. She said that she still hasn’t gotten the payment yet for ‘our’ comic from the publisher. She said that she’s asked every one’s bank account so that she could transfer the money directly, but no one gave her anything. That’s funny since I’ve never even heard anything about her asking for the bank accounts. Anyway, if that’s the case, then I should owe her an apology for thinking negatively about her action. But still, I expected her to at least let us know about the comic being published instead of going silent. So, I’ll be waiting until the payment comes up & see if she really is holding on to her words that she never wants to cheat us out for the money. For every one who doesn’t understand a thing about what I’m talking about here should read my previous blog.
Anyway, I forgot to tell you guys about my experience in the Sydney Wildlife World. I saw a wombat, koalas, a cassowary bird, & other unique Australian’s animals & insects live for the first time in my life!! The cassowary bird was so big! I’ve never seen a bird as big as that before in my life. I also saw koalas! I’ve seen koalas only on TVs & magazines before. Most of them were asleep, but 1 was awake & eating. My wife went all crazy over them & almost burst into tears. She was taping them to her cellphone. The best animal we saw was the wombat. It was the only one that was actually making an interaction with us. It was showing that it was feeling shy when we were watching, taping, & taking its pictures. It ran all over the places avoiding us, & when it got cornered, it just pointed its butt toward us! It was so cute. But when we were leaving, it just sat there watching us walking away with its small eyes as if saying it was going to miss us. It was so cute. I also saw some gigantic insects! Bah! They scared me, seriously. They said that Australia is full of exotic & huge insects in their wildlife. I may not survive living in the Australian jungle, then. Then I saw an ant colony’s nest, & darn they were the most hard-working creatures I’ve ever seen in my life. It was like as if each one of them was born with responsibilities that each of they must do in life the moment they were born. Okay, what else? Oh! I saw some huge bats too! I once saw a bat when I was a young boy in Indonesia’s Grand Garden in Bogor (Kebun Raya Bogor). That day I saw A LOT of bats on top of my head. Amazing.
Oh, I also bought a boomerang. It was my first time holding a boomerang, & I don’t even know how to use it. I might throw it & have it hit my head on its way back, probably. Oh well. Life’s hard, hehhe..
