I'm feeling MUCH better now after the bought of hard-hitting flu. It crawled down into my lungs for a bit. I'm finally getting the last bit of that up. I'm still not fit to sing in Rock Band, but I'm definitely on the mend.

Most of my morning was spent waiting in line at a food pantry to pick up a trunk full of groceries for a local needy family. I don't think any one family needs 50 lbs of small red potatoes or 30lbs of sweet potatoes, so we'll be distributing those among others. Otherwise, lots of yogurt, produce, snacks for kids, fridge bread, treats... Harvesters really is a good charity.

For the last half week, I've been waking up around 5:30 to take the dog out for a long morning walk. That's felt great, even if I've been sick. Ein's appreciating the extra mommy time and exercise. Yesterday, I accompanied mom to downtown KC to see her plastic surgeon for a consultation on a breast reduction. Her doctor agrees that she's a great candidate for it and he's sending the info to her insurance. In 3-4 weeks, we'll get to see if she is approved or not. He doesn't seem to think there's any reason she shouldn't be. What really amazes me is how high they'll be placing her nipples! Mine haven't been that high since 6th grade! :O She's being reduced from a DDD to a C and getting some overgrowth removed along her sides.

My house needs some major cleaning. It looks like I've been out of commission for a week XD Speaking of commissions, I'm anxious to get back to work. I think I only really have 4 pending and half of those are minor tweaks. I also need to collect the second half of a payment from a project finished last month. Need to remember that.

Okay, back to life.

(Got notification of Amazon charge for Dissidia. Whee~)
OH! And going up to Indep tonight to pick up Arkham Asylum. Good games time~

We receive a Dell catalog with their candy-colored tinyDells featured on the cover. Andi sees this and proclaims, "LOLLIPOP!"
