Ahh Ranma 1/2 is it so hard to say I love you, the classic story of a boy who doesn’t want to be engaged to a girl but with a twist cause for him and his dad. When ever their touched with cold water he turns into a girl and his dad turns into a panda.

Ranma and pa just got back from a training trip in china Ranma soon finds out that he has been promise to a girl after some time him and his pa finally end up at the girls house. Akane his chosen girl isn’t happy about their engagement either, but something’s a foot they soon find out that Ranma when splash with cold water becomes a girl when he splashed with hot he turns back it seems this is due to the training he did with his dad in china which would explain the panda as Ranma starts school with Akane, It seems a few girls and boys they meet, fall in love with either him or Akane. But if Ranma could just admit he loves Akane this would be over but it’s not going to be as easy as that, it seems Ranma finds it hard to say I love you.

Ranma also wants become the master of everything go marshal art and will find many challenges along the way but the people he meet will help him even if it’s not in a friendly way.

This book is for older teens as you can see from the first volume. Although after volume 13 you may find that with as many characters as Ranma the plot just keeps going in circles but the jokes and Ranma himself will keep some readers hooked until the end but Ranma ½ is over 30 volumes long so this is going to cost a bit but you got to give it to Rumiko Takahasi for coming up with enough ideas and characters to keep a story going that long. Rumour has it she’s rewriting the ending. I only have up to 13 the sign fight in volume 10 is my favourite part so far, I give Ranma ½ a 4 out of 5.

I also own the first two seasons of the anime which don’t stay true to the manga storyline in parts. Also I do warn you they seem to have the camera move a lot while filming. It’s like every 8 seconds it moves, if you watch too long you’ll start seeing normal TV do this and that’s not right, you’ll need to rest your eyes before it goes away.
