It was morning, Vlad and Monnypenny were both ready for school. Monnypenny starts saying to him, "I see that you're into this new sport Marbloids, are ya?" "Well someone in this family has to," Vlad responded. Monnypenny went on with, "Listen, I am your sister, your deep, loving, and smart sister and I say that this sport has really gotten to your head. I think you should do something more productive, like maybe join cubscouts, or in your case girl scouts. Or maybe join a sports team, a real sports team like baseball. Or maybe some good bird watching would do good. Or maybe...huh!" Monnypenny's talking put Vlad to sleep at that moment. Monnypenny Yelled at him to wake up which because of her yelling that's what he did. She went on with another lecture, but Vlad was smart this time. He put a mirror to her face and her talking put herself to sleep. As Vlad was getting on the Hoverbus Monnypenny got up and got really mad at Vlad for that.

When Vlad got to his homeroom he had a little conversation with one of his new friends. Just as they were the teacher Ms. Raven announced, "Hello everyone, we have a new student joining our school and will be in our homeroom. Please give a warm welcome to Sonny Hedges." At that moment people were going in a very uninterested YAY. Sonny was a blond haired kid the same age as Vlad with an Australian accent. When Sonny took a seat he opening up a magazine. Vlad couldn't help but notice something on the magazine. He said to Sonny, "I see that you have a video game magazine." Sonny replied with a yeah with Vlad saying after that, "That looks like the New Imagecube. The system where you don't have to plug it into an HV and has a hologram image that comes out of it and has eight player action." "Yeah, you have one. You seem to know a good amount of it, do you own one," said Sonny. Vlad said, "Oh-no I don't, but I wish I had one." Sonny then said, "I have one. Maybe we could play with each other later." With excitement Vlad said, "OKAY!"

Later at lunch a couple of guys said this, "Ugghh, the food here stinks." Another guy said in response, "I know, this crud just makes me want to throw up." Vlad sat down with a pizza and said, "Hey guys, I bet I could eat this whole entire pizza fast." All those guys were too grosed out by the food to actually think he could pull that off. Unfortunately he did it, those guys watched him do it while being repulsed. After he finished one guy said, "Dude that's gross." Vlad wondered why they were saying that and right then he started to feel not so good and decided never to eat the cafeteria's pizza again. At that moment Sonny was being picked on by a couple of third graders. Vlad's passion for justice made him challenge them to a battle later on. Of course he was only thinking of Marbloids when this came up. Is he getting into a situation that will change his life for the best or for the worst???
