Discrimination against Gays
I was looking on the internet the other day and I came over something that I thought was very distasteful. I put it in my article area. I am not sure if it is up yet or not. I just know that this made me sick. I wanted to hurt the computer. This kind of thing always makes my blood boil. I just can't believe that people would fall so low. children that are gay are not being allowed to be in the boy scouts of america (BSA) the troops are also not being allowed. It is called "unclean" I don't see why but this is bullpoop in my eyes. Something should be done about this. Why should children be limited just because of the way that they feel? If their parents are like that, I bet they would not be allowed either. This just isn't right. America is banning more and more things. It is reminding me of the Holocaust, before we know it; gay, bi, lesbian, etc. are going to be the ones going through hell because of how they feel. Has America learned nothing from the past? Must the continue hurting people? I am sure that homosexuals are not the only ones who are getting hurt like this. If someone doesn't do something, more people will be getting hurt.

I'm not gonna shout, "F***ING STUPID HOMOPHOBES!!!" just to let all of you know... even though I really REALLY want to... ^^;; Yes, I fully support you all. Discrimination against gays, to put it bluntly, is--STUPID. Very, very stupid. But, I also want to tell all of you who are proudly standing up for the rights of the homosexual, lesbian, bisexual etc. people that acceptance is spreading. Heck, let me tell you a story... *ahem* ^_^ Just yesterday, I was at a church lock-in (my friend forced me to come with her... ^^;;). Suddenly, everyone was "confessing" secrets. The girl on my left was lesbian, the guy in front of me was gay, the girl I had met just an hour ago was bi... To tell you the truth, it was all so new to me, so I kind of... just stared. ^^;; Forgive me, forgive me. I just never knew so many people were so open about it and stuff. I was kind of closed off from people like them because of my mother. Anyway, back to my story. ^^ My friend's boyfriend forced my secret out. I have two dads. I live with both of them and am very happy, thank you (if you can't figure out what I'm implying, please don't ask). ^^ He just kind of gave me a look and said "THAT'S your big secret? Pfft." He shrugged it off as nothing. I was surprised... but happy. So, I'm here to spread the good news! The acceptance of homosexuality, bisexuality, etc. is spreading. I feel happy now. XD Um, yeah... that's all I have to say. Please forgive me if I sounded stupid about anything or offended anyone in anyway. *bows and leaves*

I think it's dumb to discriminate. BUT, gay marriage technically cannot exist (i dont really care, let them do as they please I say), this is becase a mariage is, by definition: "a working relationship between two people where children can be produced and raised." Personally, I don't give much of a d*mn, let them discriminate. When the wotrld ends all that will surviive will be gay's and lesbian's. I'm straight for the record. I suppport your cause as well *pop*
I know, It IS hard to believe that people like that still exist...And to think that we're supposed to be living in a more educated and enlightened society!! And they're only starting to make a fuss NOW, after 99 YEARS of the Scouts been around...You think they'd figure out that after all this time there's a good chance that some gay children have probably sneaked their way in by now, and it's obviously not done any harm so far! Funny enough, I was watching a program about the Scouts on telly last night, (in London). I was watching it 'cause my aunt used to be a Brown Owl in the Guides. They were started up by an English Boer War soldier called Lord Baden-Powell in 1908. He was happy to let girls join after a group of young women approached him at a Scout convention, and asked him about the possibility of a girls group been formed, and sure enough, three months later he had set up the Girl Guides group, to be run by his sister. He saw the Scouts, Sea Scouts and Guides, as an opportunity for all boys and girls, regardless of their background, colour or religious beliefs, to make friends and help the community. It seems to me that the BSA either have a woeful ignorance of their own history, or no idea of what Baden-Powell's intentions were when he set the group up in the first place! And I don't mean to generalise, but this kind of attitude often stems from some sort of miss-guided, (and miss-understood) reading of the Bible. (and I went to a Catholic primary school, so I know how selective and blinkered religious people and teachers can be!) Proof once again-If proof be needed-that religion causes more problems then it EVER solved. As one of my comedy heroes once said: "Religion...S**t it!"

you know as well as the rest of us: PEOPLE ARE STUPID! they fear what they dont understand, and a different sexual preference frightens them because it diverts from the norm. persecute the unknown. im straight, but i've been persecuted all my life for other reasons. its still bullsh*t, and it amazes me how people still call America "the land of the free"...
That's definately f***ed up!! This stuff pisses me off so bad. I mean even though I'm straight my sister is lesbian and I have plenty of by and gay friends.....

i agree although im straight i dont think the usa is following it laws this is a free country rite so y is there so many restrictions and such if this is truly a free country homosexuals shouldnt be treated like that!!!

We had a Civil Rights movement for Black people. We had a Civil Rights movement for women. I am very worried that we will have to have another one for Gays, Lesbian, and Transgender citizens. Are they less American than people who are straight? Aren't all men created equal? Isn't there supposed to be a separation between church and state? Didn't we fight a mother-f.ucking war to protect these HUMAN RIGHTS? My 5th grade Social studies teacher was right....History Does repeat itself.
