A boy named Ryudai Matsumaru is walking in a forest on a school trip. He has dark blue hair and and blue eyes. "What is this? A note book? Someone must of dropped it." he said to himself while he picks up the note book.

'Death Note... The human who's name is written in the Death Note will die of a heart attack if the death is not specified in the next 40 seconds.' Ryudai thought as he read the note book.

- Shinigami World

"So, you have an extra Death Note? A human has just found mine in the Human World..." said Ryuuk to a Shinigami. "I have many, you can have one if you wish." exclaimed the Shinigami as he held out a Death Note. Ryuuk then wondered away after grabbing the Death Note. 'Humans are so intresting, maybe he will have some apples as well...' thought Ryuuk.

- Human World

"Now I get it... This note book, which is called "Death Note" is supposed to be able to kill anyone as long as you write down their name and have an image of them in your mind." he then put the Death Note on the his desk and leaned back on his chair. "What kinda sick trick is this? Killing people is wrong and this is obviously not true." he then looks up at the ceiling. "Hello there..." Ryuuk suddenly appeared infront of Ryudai. "WHAAA!!!!" Ryudai falls off his chair. "Who the hell are you?" Ryudai trembled in fear. "I am a Shinigami named Ryuuk. And you kid, have my Death Note." Ryuuk said as he glared at Ryudai. "Here take it, I don't want it!!" Ryudai grabbed the book and held it infront of Ryuuk while shaking. "Heh, you're funny kid. I never said that I wanted it back. I already have one now. You'll be suprised in what that thing can do." explained Ryuuk. "So does this thing actually kill people?" asked Ryudai. "What do you think? Try it out... And by the way, do you have any apples?" asked Ryuuk with a smile. "Gggghh!!!?? Apples?" "Yes apples, those red things that are so tasty, I've been waiting a long time for some. Being a Shinigami and all, the apples in are world are nothing like the ones in your's."
