So it's a week later... And I havent exactly told Chrys. I know. Ive tried but... "Oh. Chrys. dead grandparents gave me a few...hundred million." I didn't even know they were that rich. What the hell did they do? Thats all I have to ask. Bank robbers? Royalty? I don't know. But my legs are better. That's an upside I guess. "The genocide in Darfur is becoming a dificulty." Yeah I looked it up in the dictionary. Genocide, or the mass murder of a certian group of people... Kind of like the holocaust. Ive actually been thinking of going to college with the money and major gonvernment, but... Chrys. I'd have to tell him. I can't just suddenly be able to afford college. I groan and slide in the couch. I dont want to tell him. I guess.. I'm afraid that it'll get in the way. Maybe further down the road... but not now. But I could apply for college, and tell him before the term starts... I don't know. Government and politics have actually ben pretty intresting lately. "Obama won the primary in Missouri, and Clinton is falling behind drasticaly." says the anouncer, whose hair never moves. I ownder how much hairspray she uses. "Hey." I jump as Chrys comes over the back of the couch. "Whats with you and all this..." He waves his hands at the TV. "Crap. it's boring. plus, you missed our voting thing." I shrug. "It's...slightly intresting." I say, he looks a me in disbelief. "Youve been watching it all week. Ever since you moved in and what not." I shrug again. "Youve been putting in extra hours and I've been lonely." I look at him through my hair. "Why have you been working so much more? before I moved in you hardly worked.." He shrugs, which kind of pisses me off. "Am I really hard to have around?" I ask him, leaning forward a little. "No.." he pauses. "I'm just saving up for something." I bite my lip. I can tell he's not lying, but he's not exactly telling either. I want to say I can pay for it, whatever it is, but I don't. I sink back into the couch, and he catches on that I'm sulking. "Is it really that big of a deal for you to know?" He asks, trying to kiss me, but I turn away. "...We're living together now and you won't tell me." I complain to him, looking back at the TV... it's that lame new Bud Light commercial. "It's just a surprise." He says. "I'm sorry." he kisses me on the forhead, then gets up and walks down the hall to change out of his red Target shirt. I fold my arms over my chest. I don't like him not telling me, but I can't say much better for myself. I could buy his Target and give him a raise but... I shake my head and look back at the TV when CNBC comes back on. I watch the polls run along the bottom, Obama's ahead of Hilary in Georgia with 26% of the votes, and the state's moslty blacks, so its kind of obvious. Not to be racist. Hilary thinks she already has all the women votes, and she doesnt answer the questions that the public asks. It's kind of annoying. I'm much more Obama. Chrys comes out, but I ignore him and listen to the debate. "Obama gets moslty the younger, college educated, blacks and whites, as well as men and women. Hilary gets the older folk, the uneducated, some whites, as well as me and women." Says the guy in The Situation room. "Jess.." Chrys puts his arms around me. "Dont pout. You'll see soon enough." I am not pouting. I'm pissed. I let him kiss me on the cheeck, then he walks off. I let out a deep sigh as he takes a cup of Maruchan instant lunch, and puts some boiling water in the styrophoam cup, then takes his place next to me. "...Can I change it?" he asks sheepishly. "No." I spit at him, not taking my eyes away from the screen. He peeks under the lid, and I get a whiff of the ramen. Beef flavor. He waits a little, then starts to eat it. I eye the cup. "...Can I have some?" He looks at me, then hands me the cup and fork. I slurp some up, and hand it back to him. "...Sorry." I mumble. He shrugs. "It's okay. I get your mad." He eats he rest of his ramen.
