This is a book based on a girl who is being trade as a 'financial payment' to the Head of the Magaharas. Though, the girl- Kazura, is nice and has a sort of punk/rebel type of nature, she has to find ways how to defend herself and, now, Mizuki from the bad-mouthing Magahara family. Not many people get into the series in the first four novels, but after novel five, the series starts to get really good. All that I say is that the reader needs to be patient cause I've read the later chapters [ passing volume ten] and the series is getting way better from the later volumes. But, I would really recommend it! I'm sorry to all Furuba fans, but this series is better. It does have it's flaws, but not to the extend as Fruits Basket did.
