This story follows the adventures of 15-year old Cou, a menmber of a group of I guess you could call sky-pirates. They are called the Red-Lynx, and they "relieve" the rich of their treasures. After a normal routine of robbing a rich-man, and being teased, Cou goes to the storage room where the stolen goods are kept. In there he finds a girl in a box and she awakens to find him staring at her. She then tells Cou that she must go to Edel Garden. A group lands on the Red-Lynx offers a trade, the girl for 50 million dollars. Cou is outraged and says that a person could not be bought or sold like an object. After a skirmish with the group Cou tells Ren (the girl who was in the box) that he promises her that he will take her to Edel Garden.
