Chapter three: That’s just…w-wrong

 That same night was rather awkward as Cory tried his best to make it seem as if none of today happened; but sadly, it did. And now he honestly feared his roommate now, as he tried to pretend to be asleep, ignoring Julian’s attempts to get a conversation going.

 

            “Cory, I know you’re awake, so quit ignoring me.” (A/n: didn’t I just say that, stupid Jill taking my lines.)

Cory laid quietly, his back facing Julian, covers up to his neck, silently contemplating with himself.

Should he get a conversation going, he then swallowed hard, or else?

            “Look if you don’t want to talk to me, I can understand-“

            “Understand what, that I’m nothing but a piece of meat to you!?” Cory snapped in a hush whisper. “Now I understand why I’ve been feeling light-headed lately and bummed out, you’ve been using me as your midnight snack!”

            “Cory, listen to me, I’m very sorry for my actions, especially what happened last night, it was very disrespectful of me to do such a thing. I was careless.”

Cory turned around to face Julian, who sat at the edge of his full size bed, head down as he rubbed his temples with both his hands.

            “It’s just that for the past month, I’ve been avoiding drinking any blood, what-so-ever.”

            “A m-month…can’t you kill yourself that way?”

He then let out a sigh, “No, I’m not exactly like most vampires, I’m a dhampire, my mother a human, my father a pureblood vampire. In short, I’m more human like than most vampires. ” Julian then raised to his feet and sat at the edge of Cory’s bed ; his very actions causing his heart to do a complete 360.

 

 

 

            ”To them, the purebloods, I’m nothing but a half-breed ; to the humans, I’m just an abomination. Either way, on both ends of the rope, I’m shunned. ” he said  running his fingers threw Cory’s curly brown hair.

 

 

 

            ”Cory, are you alright, I can hear your heartbeating pretty fast. ” Jill said softly.

 

 

 

            ”W-why have you been avoiding blood ? ” At the mention of blood, Julian’s eyes met with the warm hazel gaze of Cory.

 

 

 

            ”I have….gynophobia.”he mumbled the last part.(a/n : that phobia is the overall fear of women ^-^)

 

 

 

Cory then sat up in his bed, his head shorter than Julian’s, ”What is it, are you squeemish by the sight of blood…I am.”

 

 

 

            ”I said I have gynophobia, I’m afraid of women, that’s why I’ve been avoiding

 

 

 

Blood.” He then wispered softly, ” I enjoy the taste of male blood, much stronger.” He then leaned in on Cory, wispering in his ear, ”It’s much more filling, but virgin blood, male or female, is simply the best Cory.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

The white haired  Sabastin backed Julian agaisnt the wall of the darkened hallway. He licked the raven haireted boy’s neck  tenderly as he tightened the embrace, he laughed softly as he bared his fangs, ready to feed.

 

 

 

            ”Sabastin, get away from me now.” He said in a calm threating voice.

 

 

 

            ”I just want a little taste Julian, can you spare a few drops?” he asked while nuzzling the boy’s neck.

 

 

 

            ”I have nothing to spare; I’m practically running on E.”  Julian spat while tighten his grip on Sebastian’s forearm.

 

 

 

            ”Owww. Not so tight princess.” He then lightly kissed Julian on the lips.

 

 

 

            ”Hmp. I’m sorry, my pet.” Jill said while rubbing Sebastian’s sun kissed face, he then began to caress the vampire’s neck,”Why not give your master some blood, I’m starving.” He said while warping his arms around Sebastian’s strong neck.

 

 

 

Sebastian then rested his forehead on his master’s shoulder, breathing in his scent and listening to the steady beating of his heart.

 

 

 

            ”Do as you wish Master Juli-” he then sank his fangs into Sebastian’s thick neck as he switched places with him; pushing his pet against the wall, despite the height difference between the two.

 

 

 

His white hair covering his face as he let out a moan of ecstasy; off in the main hall, the bell rang the start of afternoon classes.

 

 

 

            ”Did you have your fill?” Sebastian asked while breathing slightly harder than before.

 

 

 

            ”Not quiet, but I can’t be late for English.” Sebastian then licked the remaining blood from Julian’s lips.

 

 

 

            ”Julian?”

 

 

 

            ”Yes.”

 

 

 

            ”If you need blood from that Cory fellow, don’t be shy about it, just ge-”

 

 

 

            ”I did that, and now he’s pissed at me…but,”

 

 

 

            ”But what?” Sebastian asked while fixing his uniform.

 

 

 

            ”I’m afraid he just might be-”

 

 

 

 

 

 

”My lover, the one who called up to the window, ‘You are alone, are you not?” their English teacher Mr.X read aloud from a tattered book titled, missing you Lonely.

 

 

 

Cory drifted in and out of reality as Mr.X went on and on with the meaningless chapter. Mr.X was very young looking for a teacher; he could pass as one of his students. He leaned against the front of his desk as he finished up the last paragraph.

 

 

 

            ”Now wasn’t that story just…inspiring?” he asked his half awake class.

 

 

 

Everyone agreed in a brief monotone, something along the lines of ‘yes’ and ‘uh-hn’.

 

 

 

            ”Okay, today’s assignment is to write a poem about anything. It could be about how you got new extensions, to how you felt when you spilt your skateboard in two. Just look busy and write something.”

 

 

 

At his last words, the class was revived.

 

 

 

”Hey Cory, be my partner!” a blonde girl with short hair said while mentioning the empty seat nearest to him.

 

 

 

            ”Yeah, sure Mimi, how have you been?”

 

 

 

            ”Fine and you, looking healthier than the last time I saw ya.”

 

 

 

            ”Yeah…I haven’t been getting enough sleep.” He lied, because quiet frankly he hasn’t been getting any.

 

 

 

            ”Well, it’s great to hear that, most 11th graders don’t get the recommended hours, you know. Say how’s your roommate doing, what’s his name…Jack?” She said while brainstorming poem ideas.

 

 

 

            ”His name is Jill. And I uh guess he’s doing fine.” Cory said while rolling his eyes.

 

 

 

            ”He did something to you?” she asked while grinning at him.

 

 

 

            ”He bit me.”

 

 

 

Mimi then squealed as she lifted her hands to her mouth, her peachy cheeks turning red.

 

 

 

            ”He’s a freaky one, isn’t he-”

 

 

 

            ”And drew blood.”

 

 

 

Silence.

 

 

 

“O…kay, he’s a real vampire, eh?”

 

 

 

“No, he something like a hybrid.”

 

 

 

Mimi then looked lifted and then right, “He’s a Dhampire, half human, half vampire.”

 

 

 

            “How’s that possible if vampire’s are the undead?” Cory asked.

 

 

 

            “Long story, but only pureblood males can mate ya know, in this day and age, I doubt he was born in this century.” She said while briefly stopping due to a dark shadow cast over her.

 

 

 

            “ You know Mimi, your exactly right.” A familiar voice said from next to Cory, this made him jump.

 

 

 

            “Julian!” they both said in unison.
