there was this one book that briefly translated chatspeak... it listed 'whoot' as 'expression of joy'. which i thought was hilarious because what if we all went around saying "expression of joy!" expression of joy!" "expression of joy!"? lol. so anyways.

which reminds me! heh, my sleep pattern is totally bizarre. i always go to bed at around 2:00 a.m. or later, and then end up sleeping in until like, 10:00. well, one morning i actually woke at 8:50 for some ridiculous reason and couldn't get back to sleep. i made my bed and kinda curled up on top of the covers. it was really really comfy, and i thought i was finally falling back asleep when my mom comes exploding through the door all excited. the look on my face was probably like, "whoa wha huh?" and she's like,

"look!" she had one of those little laser thingies you can use to point at stuff with a red dot of light (i recognized it as my brother's and thought vaguely that i had been searching for that) and waved it around on my wall. then she goes (and this just about cracked me up), she goes,

"now look!" and starts swinging the laser in a circle. "a LIIINE!"

me: ...

mom: 8D

me: -.-"

mom: 8D

lol. i was like "you woke me up for THAT?!" but of course, looking back on it now, i find it incredibly amusing. hmmm... i should really burn my playlist onto a cd soon...
