MySpace has been a fad for a while. Many people are into this fad. In fact, more than 80% of people in just one of my classes has a MySpace. But why do people still sign up for MySpace? Tokyopop and MySpace are very similar, but I'll point out some differences.
There have been people getting raped because of MySpace, and still most MySpacers ignore it. MySpace never did have a definite purpose. MySpace averages your vote, and you get treated like, what, a tenth of a person?
On the other hand, people have never been raped because of Tokyopop. Tokyopop has the POP voting system, which counts your vote, so that you are not left out. (Isn't that what the Bill of Rights does?! Give you the right to vote?) One thing that MySpace surely doesnt have is a Manga column, where you can read other people's manga. Tokyopop's purpose is on manga.
For the ones that would say that Tokyopop doesn't have nearly as many people as MySpace, here's the deal. Tokyopop seems to function well even without as many people as MySpace. Thats how many people avoid risk. If you say that Tokyopop can't be stylized like MySpace, we can do without them. No one at Tokyopop actually minds that.
That is why MySpace isn't as good as Tokyopop. If you dont believe it, the evidence is there. Those that kid themselves and say MySpace is better, this is your proof that Tokyopop is bettr than MySpace.
Ever wonder what's better, Tokyopop or Myspace? Here is the ultimate comparison of the two.

okay okay yahl all have yahls point.but think about it tokyopop.is way better than myspace for enstence.on myspace like 40% or LESS, are involved in manga and anime.on tokyopop about 98% or more are involved in it.now unless your hear to find boy frinds or girlfriends,i think you'd rather chat, exchange, discuss or ect. in an enviroment filled with people like us.so i agree with blackdragon001's statement.(bye the way i love yr name)inuyasha 4 ever! ^_^

The fact that myspace has no purpose is why people love it so much...you can be into anything and find some one on there who likes it also....the kids who get raped should hold themselves accountable, not MySpace....

I myself believe that tokyopop is waaaaay better than my space but, you did not prove your point that well . Actually there really aren't that many people that get raped and it isn't myspaces' fault that they got raped it's their own. They set the meetings and set them selves up for it(there are ways the you can protect yourself on myspace such as making your profile private, making it so people can only add you if they know your last name, (which you may not even use your real one) and also you can block people then they just can't talk to you). It's all the little naive little kids that think that nothing will happen and any little whores out there that think that nothing bad will come out of setting up a meeting with someone that could be twice their age and could potentially harm them. Needless to say tokyopop kicks myspaces' ass v^_^

Though Internet sex crimes represent only 1% to 2% of all s*x crimes against children, the danger is real and likely growing because of the Internet's increasing popularity, says David Finkelhor, director of the Crimes against Children Research Center at the University of New Hampshire. Internet predators almost always are older men who correspond extensively with victims (75% of them young teenage girls) before meeting them, Finkelhor say PS sry i didnt get 2 u sooner, da article turned out great. maybe u can alter it (or throw it out, da article is great already) good job! ^_^
