You’re always there for me… even when you shouldn’t be…
You always hold my hand when I’m crying… even if she looks at you funny…
You always act like you care… even when I know you’d rather be with the guys…
You walk me home after school… even after I stepped on your glasses…
You try not to look at her too much… when I’m around…
You never tell a soul … even if you see the scars on my wrist…
You never make a sound… even when I call you in the middle of the night crying…
You try not to let on… that you’d prefer her to me…
You never act surprised… when you turn around and I’m on the floor…
You really don’t mind… that I don’t obsessively hug you like all the other girls
I think you might like it… when I ruffle your hair and say hi…
But… I’m not really sure… if I’m as good as her…
