Um, I'm kind of new so this is a bit awkward, but I would really like to ask you guys to pray for some folks if you don't mind. Don Harmon (in my first pastorate right out of HS; was his youth minister for about five years) just lost his battle with cancer. I buried him today. He got it when he was 19 and lasted for about three years. He was a really wonderful and inspiring person, and I am sure he is in heaven with Christ now. Although everyone is glad he is not in pain anymore, it's hard too. His dad is especially having a hard time. If you have the time, just say a prayer for his family. Thanks.
