The manga is way better then the anime. I'm up to volume 10 now. I finally found a store in Ireland that stocks manga!!!!!! I had to get them from the library so I only discovered fruits basket a month ago when I took a went upstairs for the first time in O' Mahoneys to get a sci-fi book for my cousins birthday. Kyo and hatori are my favourites so far

Hi everyone, my name is Seiren-chan, or you could just call me Sha la. I've read the first seventeen volumes of Fruits Basket (but I'm not giving away anything!) from Tokyopop, as I don't like the job my country's publisher did on it. I'd have to say that my favourite characters in no particular order are Kyo, Rin, and Saki. I also love the Mabudachi Trio and Arisa. I love all the characters!! <3 (And I think somewhere deep down in my heart I have taken a liking to Akito as well). In short, I share personality quirks with just about all of the characters ^^; and I hope to be everybody's friend! ^-^
