Please remember that this is mostly based on the Chinese gods called Qilin. So, if you are submitting anything which is spelled in another language or a different culture version, it would be best to indicate this.
For example: This god originates from Chinese culture, and goes by these characters: 麒麟
In the Modern Standard Chinese it's called a "Qilin" which is pronounced "Tchee-Leen". However, in various other dialects of Chinese, they might spell it differently.
麒麟 In Japanese , these charecters are spelled as 'Kirin" which an English speaker would pronounce corectly as "Kee-Reen".
In Korean they might called it a "Girin" which would be pronounced "Gee-Reen)" or something like this.
So, if possible please indicate your sources, how you PERSONLY call it, and include as many variations as you can.
Please don't get upset if someone disagrees with something you have written, it's VERY common that they are spelled and pronounced differently. And, please don't pick fights. If someone does comment with a different bit of information, please try to listen to the other person. It might be that they are just sharing further information with you and NOT actually Bullying you.

麒麟 is actually only used for this specific god.... However, during the Ming Dynasty a famous admiral Eunuch named "Zheng He" sailed throughout the world on behalf of spreading Ming Chinese cultures and teachings and he brought back with him a Giraffe.
Since that time (during Ming dynasty) a Giraffe was referred to as a 麒麟 (Qilin). In Modern China today, people call it a "Chang Jing Lu" which means a kind of deer. And, in Japan, people still might refer to this animal as a 麒麟 Kirin.
So, if you're going to post a Giraffe as a 麒麟, then PLEASE indicate the Ming Dynasty story of Admiral Zheng He.

Recent Posting Errors
I've begun posting the content for the Clan. However, due to some gridlock onto the site it's caused many problems. 
But, it would do well to read through the blog posts which I have submitted today.
They have some information on it wich is very interesting. Please don't whine about it. It's not like it's a lot to read. I've put much effort into it so that it isn't boring. The topics they have should be of interest, and also interesting.
I would like to publish a book with this content which is EASILY comprehancible to Westerners.
The reason is not that I'm implying Westerners to be stupid, but that I often find much of this information is over people's heads. It's not hard to understand, but it takes a simple step by step explanation. And, let's face it, most people have short attention spans, and the sight of long lengthy texts causes folks to groan. 
So, I would like to create more visual content (hopefully by way of Comics and cartoons) to explain the stuff.
Also, I would like to introduce it in bits. That way no one gets overwhelmed.

Welcome to the Clan for Qilin and other related Chinese Mythological gods. Mainly, I would like to dedicate the content to the Chinese gods known as "Qilin" 麒麟.
However, I'm open to other similar Chinese gods. Feel free to post other Asian nation versions of this god. Such as Japan, Korean, and other Asian Countries.
You are welcome to post the unicorn types, and the antler types as well as anything other Chinese unicorns like lions, tigers, or other Shen Shou.
You may also make up your own versions, or invent new kinds of magical animals or gods. That's fine.
