“Text”dialog

While I was walking, I was thinking about what Kakashi-sensei said. About an hour after I started my walk, I ran into Naruto. I don’t mean I met him while walking. I mean I literally ran into him.

“Oww….Rose, you need to watch where your walking.” Naruto says. I must have a look that says ‘I’m sorry’ because says, “It’s okay. Hey, were you headed anywhere inparticular?” I shake my head ‘no’. “Oh, well I was heading to Ichiraku.” He says, “Want to come?”

I nod my head ‘yes’.

‘why not? he’s on my team and maybe I’ll trust him enough to talk to him. He’s not as bad as everyone says. He’s kind of funny even though he’s Sasuke’s rival.’

Naruto POV

I order my ramen and look at Rose. She just points at me.

“Do you want to order the same thing as me?” I ask

She nods her head. I order another bowl of ramen for her.

“So are you on a date, Naruto?” the old man asks.

“N-no, we’re just teammates and I ran into her on the way here so we’re having ramen together.” I tell him.

“Right. That’s why she’s being shy and not talking.”

“Nah, that’s not it. she doesn’t talk to anyone.” I tell him.

I look over at Rose and she looks hurt.

‘Oops, I didn’t mean to hurt her feelings.’

“What I mean is,” I tried to correct myself, “She’s kind of shy around everybody.”

A minute later she hands me a piece of paper that says: Thanks Naruto.

I look over and say, “You’re welcome.”

To my surprise, she smiles.

‘Rose actually smiled!!’

“Is it the end of the world?” I ask her.

She looks confused then smiles and laughs. While she’s laughing she writes something on a piece of paper and hands it to me. I read it ‘You’re funny Naruto!!’

“No, I’m serious.” I tell her. This just makes her laugh harder. “Why are you laughing?” I ask, “You’ve never smiled or laughed before so why now?” This confuses her. She stops laughing and frowns. Then she shrugs and smiles. We finish our ramen and leave. “Hey Rose do you want me to walk you home?” I ask. She thinks about it. While thinking she looks amused. She shakes her head. “Are you sure?” I ask. She nods head. “Ok then,” I say “good-bye Rose.” I wave good-bye and leave.

Rose POV

“Naruto isn’t as annoying as I thought.” I say aloud since no one is around. “He’s actually kind of funny”

“Since when is that Dobe funny?” a voice asks from behind me. I turn around to face him.

“I don’t know, but he was pretty funny when I was with him.” I tell Sasuke. I smile and he gave me the same astonished looked that Naruto did.

“What were you doing with Naruto anyways?” he asks.

“Why do you care?” I question, “Are you jealous or something?”

He makes a disgusted look and looks away as he says “As if! I was just wondering because you never hang-out with anyone.”

“Well I ran into him on a walk and he invited me to have ramen with him so I did.” I say, “Your right it’s not me you like it’s….SAKURA!!”

“What?!” he almost yells. He looks away and…OMG!! HE’S BLUSHING!! THE SASUKE UCHIHA IS BLUSHING!! It’s very light, but I can tell he’s BLUSHING!!

“Are you blushing?” I ask.

This causes him to blush even more, and look away.

“N-no, of course not!” he says.

“Right,” I say sarcastically.

“You’re blushing. You’re blushing!” I tease. Then I see the annoyed look on his face. “Bye-bye” I say and…RUN AWAY!!

“Get back here Rose!!” he yells chasing me.

“No way Sasuke!” I yell back, “You’ll have to catch me!”

I look back and see that he’s starting to catch up with me.

‘Great, I need to think of something to distract him, but what? What could I use? What…AHA hehehe…this is soo evil! I love it!’

“Hey Sasuke!” I call.

“What?!” he sounds mad. Well he’s about to get a lot madder. I take a deep breath and yell,

“YOU LOVE SAKURA!! YOU LOVE SAKURA!!” I look at his face, which is growing redder, and laugh. I notice that we’re right at my apartment so I run inside and lock the door.

“ROSE!! OPEN THE DOOR!!” he yells

“NO WAY!! You’ll kill me!” I yell while trying not to laugh.

“THAT’S THE POINT!!”

“NOT HAPPENING SASUKE!! JUST ADMIT IT TO YOURSELF!! Good-night.” I say calmly.

“I won’t because there’s nothing to admit! Good-night Rose.” I hear him say as he walks away.

The next morning, I wake to the sound of knocking.
