First off, let me start out by saying that My Dead Girlfriend has excellent character design. The artist (Eric Wright) is a tremendous artrist. He was able to bring the essence of the story into his drawings throughout the whole manga. But the idea of the story itself, I didn't quite like. I mean why isn't Bleak dead. His whole family is composed of ghosts, his friends monsters, but yet he is a human!

             The second thing that brought the rating down tremendously is what I like the inner panel. Simply it is the drawings inside the panel that help the structure and flow of the story. And to put it to you simply there was none of this in the panels. And for those who have been reading manga for quite awhile that one of the most important aspects of a manga of the story is the artwork. You should be able to just skim through the pages and tell what's going on in the story . My Dead Girlfriend dosen't quite make the cut for that part.

             So maybe next time this manga will be a zero to hero story.
