Highlights: May 2008 Releases

May is an unusually busy month for us at TOKYOPOP, with no less than 47 magnificent titles being released. In this section we'll try to highlight the absolute must-haves and most anticipated series of the month. For a full list of titles releasing in May please visit our release schedule.
Based on the smash-hit video game, the fantastic adventure of Kingdom Hearts continues in Kingdom Hearts II Vol 2. For the slightly older kids we also have the bestselling Chibi Vampire Vol 8 releasing in May, which was recently included in ICv2's Top Ten Manga Properties for 2008.
For a more mature audience, May sees the release of the fan favorite GTO: the Early Years -- Shonan Junai Gumi Vol 7. The second installment of Katsu Aki's humourous "handbook" for sexual beginners Manga Sutra also hits the streets, along with three new yaoi titles in the BLU line: Love Pistols Vol 5, Love Mode Vol 9 and the brand new series Tea for Two Vol 1.

April is truly action packed here at TOKYOPOP. Our biggest release of the month is Hellgate: London Vol 1, based on the hit video game from EA. This OT rated series follows on the heels of Warcraft, Devil May Cry and King of Hell.

Other April highlights include the much anticipated series Hotel Africa from Korea's hottest female manga creator, Hee Jung Park, as well as collections of hit series King of Hell and Chronicles of the Cursed Sword.

And last but not least we have some hot PopFiction titles for you from TOKYOPOP's line of Teen/YA novels.
