DESIGN INTERNSHIP

TOKYOPOP is seeking interns to work in our Creative Services Department.  Interns will be able to gain hands-on experience while building their portfolios for a highly recognized brand!

DUTIES:

• Assist in designing and prepare for printing, all product packaging and marketing support materials
• Assist in creating and conceptualizing property identities through use of logos, layout, and color palette
• Assist in retouch, layout and letter various manga materials for print
• Provide other departmental assistance, as necessary

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Knowledge of Macintosh computers
• Understanding and love of Typography, Design principles and theories
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign - A Must!
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently

JOB REQUIREMENT: 

• This is a Non-Paid Internship in Los Angeles
• You must enroll in an internship class and receive course credit for the work experience
• We will work around the intern’s school schedule and be flexible; however, a regular weekly schedule is required
