Make it stop! Make it stop! Sharon Davidson screamed in her head. She was on the hallway floor of her high school, Jefferson High. Just being a new freshman was hard enough but this? She couldn't understand it. She had been just taking a drink from the fountain when BAM!, the whole fountain started gushing out water, and soon it exploded all over her. Things like this have happened before...

"What a freak!" "Loser!" "Go back to your own planet!" "Who are you?!"

The jeers from the other kids, she should have been used to them by now. All her life things had been happening to Sharon. When she was two, and when her mother had been away on business, her father was watching her alone. It was winter, a fire had been roaring in the fireplace. Sharon had been curious, and when her father's back had been turned, she had fallen into the fire. I remember his scream.. He had pulled her out, but she was unharmed. It was as if the fire had evaded her, like a shield protected her. Her father never had told her mom. Then, there was her fifth birthday party, when she had "vanshed". But I was right in front of them.. was I invisible? Sharon knew that incident had freaked her mom out. Her dad came home for her birthday, but it was later in the party he had arrived, so he would never know about the incident since he would never be told. There were also the facts that lights would turn on and off when she would speak, objects moving or dissappearing, or the facts that plants would grow when she would touch them, or that winds would pick up speed with her rage..I am a freak, a loser...

"Well, well. If it isn't freakawoman."

It was Cassie, one of Sharon's ex-best friends. At her side were Mina and Izzy. All three girls had been her friends at one time. Sharon had been friends with Mina since kidnergarten, Cassie since fourth grade, and Izzy since seventh. I guess they had it with me being a freak..they knew about most of the incidents after all. Sharon looked at them all. Mina's eyes were downcast, like she was ashamed. But Izzy and Cassie glared at her with intense fury.

"Just to let you know" Izzy started "Joey asked Cassie to the dance. Sure, it's six months off but since they're dating, what would you expect?"

Joey..I really liked him..Cassie knew that...

Joey appeared from around the corner, and wrapped his arm around Cassie.

"Hey freak, had another accident? When will you learn? We've had it with you!"

"He's right!" Cassie chimed in "For years, we've put up with your freakdom, but Pennsylvania doesn't need a weirdo around here, so why don't you just go back to Mars, 'kay?"

All four chimed in with laughter, as well as other kids in the hall. Tears formed in Sharon's eyes. Then she bolted into a run. She bolted through the doorsd, not caring she would miss the rest of her classes or that she was still soaked. I don't know where I'm going, but it's better than here...

"AHHHH! WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?" Luke screamed. He had shurnk somewhat, and he looked younger. "AND WHY ARE WE HERE!?!?" He pointed to a school that said Jefferson High.

"First, you're 15 again. Don't you remember there is a time difference between the two planets, which is three years? You may be 18 back home, but you're 15 here.

"It doesn't matter to you since your older!"

Ignoring him, Sucolei continued: "And, second, he or she is here."

"WHAT!!??! The Guardian's a high school student.?"

"Yes. Oh and by the way, the is one more thing concerning our ages. If we stay here more than 72 hours the age change will become permanent. "And guess what? We will be." Sucolei tone was quite casual

Luke felt like screaming, but he had to stay calm. "Well, where are they?"

Sucolei took out a portable glowing spherical map. The same dot that had been on the big map glowed on the small one. Then, it began to move closer to a blue dot, which represented Luke and Sucolei.

"Just wait disciple. They'll be here..

Just then, Luke heard the doors to the school open. He lifted his head..Oh God..No..it can't be..not her! What stood before him was the sorriest looking hero he had ever seen....
