The Forgotten Samurai Ch.9 V.1 Two Choices, One Fate

The hero and Taki had grown in both body and mind in just such a short amount of time. But the time had come for the hero to make a choice between Taki and the girl he had fallen in love with. As they walked down a long almost endless dirt path they were amazed to see that at a point in the dirt road there was two doors of very similar quality. The hero's dead girlfriend's spirit appeared in front of the door on the left and told them that in order to save her they had to go into the door on the right. She said the door on the right led to a place where Taki and him could live together forever in peaceful harmony and never have to worry for anything. Her spirit dispersed and the hero looked down and made a fist and thought about what a tough decision that would affect him for the rest of his life, he opened the door and grabbed Taki's hand and rushed in. After they had stepped through, the size of the buildings mesmerized them. They looked around at what seemed to be a completely desolate city of some futuristic race, a slice close to the hero's face brought him back to reality. The building crumbled and the piles of rocks came toward them, they both jumped away but while they were jumping the hero saw a dark figure at the very top of a building, he immediately jumped toward it leaving Taki behind in the smoke of the building. he appeared on the tip of the building and then he saw the person's face and it was a demon general similar to the one who killed his girlfriend, the demon's cape dropped off of his neck and he drew two swords that were sheathed at his waste he was fast, too fast for the hero to keep up with and his strength nearly doubled that of the hero's . He disappeared and appeared right behind the hero he punched the hero in the back and knocked him into the building breaking the cement. The hero rose up and looked around, he did not see the demon but could still feel his presence he walked toward the edge and saw him standing vertically on the building the hero saw that this world had different rules of life than his. The demon jumped at him again, this time his swords were on fire but when the two swords cut him it became cold as ice. He said this attack is called freezing flame it cuts through flesh like butter and leaves it in an unhealable state. The Hero grabbed his right shoulder which had been cut and pulled out his darkness sword, and began building up energy. This time he was prepared to fight back, the demon jumped at him but then disappeared and appeared behind him in a flash, the hero was not playing and so just slung his sword behind his back and stopped the attack. His energy was still gathering but at a faster rate than before, he began to feel his power increasing. He said this is getting old and made a huge burst of darkness energy come from his entire body, the demon was blown back into another building which left a humongous crater in it. The demon finally rose up and spoke and said it is about time, I thought I was fighting myself out there, the hero realized then that the demon had not been fighting at full force but was simply trying to make him use his full power to see a small measurement of it. The hero said fine you want to see my power you got it but don't say I didn't warn you, prepare yourself. The hero's power began to be almost uncontrollable even to himself, cuts started to re-open that were previously closed and his anger grew. He closed up both fists and hunched down to gather more energy and then he stopped suddenly and Taki appeared before him. He looked at where the demon had been, but he was gone Taki asked him what happened . The hero stabbed Taki in the stomach and said do you take me for a fool. The camouflage that had disguised the demon disappeared and he jumped back and said how did you know, he said because Taki put on perfume this morning and you smell like rotten garbage. The hero disappeared and appeared in front of Taki who appeared to have been watching the fight the whole time. He said I will not allow you to be hurt he put his hand on Taki's head and told her he lover her and then punched her in the stomach and threw out of the portal that was still open. The demon had watched this entire spectacle and laughed at the hero for such a weak gesture. The hero looked up at the demon and then held out his hand and let out a blast of darkness the demon speed was still remarkable but the hero's speed had increased as well when he charged his energy. The hero said if you want to see my power then you will see it he grabbed his dark sword and stabbed it in his chest and said darkness release instantly it was as though time stopped so much energy expended from the hero's body that the demon was blown through ten or twenty buildings. The hero's body changed as well his hands turned to claws and black wings grew out his back his eyes shined a shimmering green, he took one step toward the demon and appeared in front of him. The demon began to unleash his full power but the hero just grabbed his head and picked him up, he grabbed his throat and began punching the demon in the face. Blood began gushing out of the demon's face, the demon took his sword and slashed his arm causing the hero to release him. The hero looked at his arm and laughed, the demon tried to run away but he had no hopes of escaping the hero's might. The hero said as a gesture towards your earlier strength and speed I shall kill you with my ultimate attack, one of his arms with claws disappeared and a hand holding a sword replaced it, the hero said Armageddon slash and the entire city instantly lit up and the demon's body was incinerated into nothingness. The hero awoke to see that the entire city was decimated by some kind of force the likes of which he had never seen, he really didn't care about the city the only thing he wanted to know was what happened to Taki. He stood up and saw that there was no way she was here or that she was in this destruction, he stepped through the portal and saw Taki lieing on the ground motionless he held his head next to her face to see if she was breathing, when all of a sudden bammmm!!!!!!!!!! she hit him in the face and said how dare you hit me in the stomach. She began hollering at him, but in his heart he knew everything was going to be all right, as long as Taki would help him along the way. He hugged Taki and and told her he was sorry she said it's ok I understand just please next time let me help. He kissed her and she him and they finally figured out who they wanted to be with. Each other, the hero would always love his other girl, but he had fallen in love with Taki over their long journey together. This was the end of the forgotten samurai, and the beginning of Taki the kunoichi and her boyfriend Bruce the samurai. But who knows how long that will last ????????????????? ;)
