"KAIRIE! YOU WILL TAKE THE THRONE!" the ruler of the realm of dragons told me.  "Oh Yea!? And Who's going to make me I could take on a thousand of your men and I'd have less scratches than I came in with!" 

Since I was 4 years old I've lived in this place, I'm now 16, not really knowing why, I don't remember anything before that and this "king" had the information I kneeded. I am a fire user I can create and control fire, I was also one of the strongest fighters in the nation, there are few oppenents that could even land a hit on me, and that's not just my ego talking. The "king" says he can sense his death is imminent and is wanting a strong leader to lead this place.

The realm of dragons is famous for it's thieves, always taking and never giving back, we have one true enemy, and that's the realm of the sea serpent, our one weakness, the weakness of fire is water. This realm is where defyers like me get banished to, we never get mercy from these people, they absolutley hate each other. Water and fire were never bound to work together, only in the pages of history books, and the book of prophesies.

I think what they're doing here is morally wrong so I refuse to be the ruler of it all. "Kairie you know the consaquences of disobeying me!" he did a sideways head nod, a tip off to the guards, I didn't think he would banish his "future succesor" but I was wrong I felt a paralyis strike run up and down my spine, the tingling sensation of a muscle falling asleep times 100, I fell unconcious to the ground.

I woke up with my fire protection circle around me, my powers are strong enough I can use them on a subconcious level, and I only need this kind of protection in one place, the realm of the sea serpent. I got up and watched my vision get blurry and then focused onto a crystal clear picture. The princess of this realm was standing above me.
