When I woke up I was in exactly the same place as when I fainted. When I sat up to look around I saw pretty much the whole block was sooty but not destroyed, like there was a fire near by and just the ashes of what was left remained on the roofs of the shops, usually a whole city block would be destroyed burned all the way to the ground but it wasn't

Ellion was kneeling on her knees, looking astonished and weak empty of all energy that she came here with, in it's place, exhaustion. She was looking at me with her mouth open in disbelief, she said "wow, I never thought a fire user could defeat me, especially by accident." after that weak sentence it was her turn to faint.

I looked around me, the only place that was clear of all debri was a little circle around me, it had little water droplets on it. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, Ellion was smart, instead of putting a water shield around herself she put it around me, protecting everone else instead of just her.

Bob the storekeeper for the blacksmith shop came out and said "Thanks to this girl we were all saved." I looked at him guiltily and said, "I'll take care of her." I walked over there and picked her up my levatation spell helping me out. I quietly whispered "dimension six." and we dissipated into oblivion, returning into the library.

When Ellion came to the first thing she said was "Are you okay? What happened to you?" I knew if I was going to remain a moral and just person I should tell her, even if I was dreading it.

"You scared me, when I'm scared my powers take over, I was a late bloomer when it came to getting my powers, I never really learned exactly what to do in a situation when I'm scared. It's like I short circuit, I have a power surge and then I black out, honestly I hate it that's why my powers tend to be a little catastrophic."

She had a tinkle in her eye, and I could tell the wheels were turning. She had a plan for my new found (at least to her) strength, she was going to see if she could take advantage of me somehow. For nothing but her own gain, and I will have nothing of it. I'm just curious what it is.
