Review Type: Manga & Anime
Iokomo's Rating: 4 of 5
I am always appealed to anime/manga that has a historical touch to it. You must agree with me that the Basilisk author did his homework. Nonetheless, this is not your typical SLASH & KAPOWWW story with all super cool dudes, aka. ninjas, and the remaining feeling that you wanna become one too. Nah, it is the ninja Romeo et Juliet version of some kind. I do not want to get in to it that much because then I would ruin the plot and I do not want to be the antagonist of the manga eh! However, even though there is a few points that I dislike about this show there is still enough magic left within the deepest core of the story that leaves me chained to the monitor. Cruelty is not left out at all and at time it can be rather sickening, but then we have the lovely ladies that persuade my eyes once again. Overall, much of action, lots of history, love, and the enemy. I recommend this if you like some bloody and ecchi (hentai) version of Inu Yasha 十人十色
