...Lilith?
Review of "Trinity Blood"
Review Type: Manga & Anime
Japanese0haru0girl's Rating: 3 of 5

Upon the fantastic ending to volume 4, we again flashback to Abel's viscious krusnic form but for a moment. On their way to the Methusela's empire(or at least I think that's where...i haven't read this in a while mind you), Petros decides to help Ion, if only for a little while, for Ion has decided to pay Petros with his life for this exchange. Not only does everyone have to worry about the Rozen Cruez orden, but now a huge torndo-like thing called "The Angel of the Desert" is about to destroy Carthage. Now we turn to Esther, who seems to be having a hard time dealing with the fact that Abel had been hiding one pretty big secret from her--more worried it seems that it was actually something that big that he was hiding. But when all is said and done, she realizes that she's on his side no matter what and that she must help him. We switch over to Ion, who is ready to finally face Radu. Now back to Abel, who has gone to reset a program on something(I'm so sorry! I seriously haven't read this in a while!) only to learn that something is keeping him from being able to override the program! Instead, a video playback comes on, and it's of a person Abel once knew. This woman tells some things that reveal tiny slivers of his past, but not enough to totally understand it comepletely. And it almost seems like he's begining to lose hope(or whatever is happening to him at the time. it seems very OOC for a moment), but...

Then we come back to the fight between Radu and Ion(though the ending's not very surprising when people give things away in the comments -_-;;;;;). It seems to be taking a lot of courage from Ion to have to practically kill his true Tovaras...and possibly even Radu?

Okay, so this volume to me wasn't as amazing as the last one(but come on? The 4th was like FANTASTIC), but it was very important to the plot. I was really happy to see Lilith even if she was an old video recording hehe! Bu that would be future for us, Hm? The 6th book should be out right now as I'm writing this, but I've kept forgetting to come on here to review this one! Oh btw, sorry for no images this time! I'm using my mom's account right now and I don't think she has any Toribura images. heheh...

Extras in this volume include...

  • Character bio of William Walter Wordsworth in front
  • 3 mini-comics the artist has done
  • In the Next Volume...summary
  • Several pages of other Tokyopop thingys(At least there were a lot in my print! O.O)
  • Abel-kun says the s-word. Bad Abel-kun. hehe!

This volume may not have been extremely amazing in my opinion, but it's definatly got a lot of important factors. Including the introduction of......well, yeah...the title kinda says it all. But yeah, if you're fan enough to be reading my reviews, then you're probably gonna get it anyways.
