PAGE FIFTEEN

Panel One: Sama crawls under his bed.

Panel Two: Similar shot as panel one, but now we can't see Sama at all. His dialog balloon trails out from under the bed.

1/SAMA: 10 ... 9 ... 8 ... 7 ...

Panel Three: Camera moves closer into the shot. We can now see Sama curled up under his bed. He has his eyes closed tightly. His arms are crossed across his chest.

2/SAMA: 6 ... 5 ... 4 ...

Panel Four: Closer still. We can see the worry lines on Sama's forehead, and maybe a little drop of sweat.

3/SAMA: 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...

Panel Five: Nothing happens. Same shot as panel four, close on Sama with his eyes closed.

Panel Six: Same as before, only now Sama opens his eyes with a funny expression on his face. Jake, this is all you -- you gotta make this pic sing! I'm going for that "oh boy, that was a waste of my time" look, mixed with that pained dashing of hope that leaves Sama feeling like "now what?"

Of course, some things just take a little extra bit of time...
