I have something to say
Stop and give me your attention ok
Because today may be my last day
You see I need this rain
Just like hit of cocain
Because the rain calms the pain
People see me standing in the rain
Crying hoping the rain washes away
The tears, the fears
The aches and pains
Unloved, unwanted, uncared
People just look and stare
Wanting to ask but don't dare
hoping i get away from there
You can't understand
How it is for a man
To stand on his own
Living all a lone
The only thing that cares
That's always there
That wont leave me
Or reject me
In order to survive another day
Hoping to find someone that cares today
But if I ever find this pain again
I'll find this mercyful rain
Because this rain calms my pain
Please don't take my words to heart
Because these words can tear you apart
But if you ever feel the same
Just remember the rain calms the pain
