“I can’t believe you invited him Hikaru!”  Shouted Hisa.  Hikaru and her three friends were standing across the street from a decrepit abandoned hospital.  It had been abandoned for years and looked as if in desperate need for repair.  “Maybe he isn’t as bad as the rumors say.  I mean he didn’t seem that bad when Hikaru talked to him right?”  Timidly added Fuji.  The three friends nodded “yea I guess so.”  Said Hisa nodding.  “See I told you guys he wasn’t like the rumors said.”  Hikaru smiled, the group jumped out of their skin when they heard a cough emerge from the shadows.  “Who, who is it” Kaedas’ voice was shaky from fear.  Kazu revealed himself from the shadows.  The light from a street lamp only made his face visible.  “God you bottom don’t scare us like that.”  Said Fuji holding her hand to her chest, all the girls gave a sigh of relief.  Even Hikaru had been scared.  “Wow what a first impression.”  Said Dash with a whistle and a grin.  The girls couldn’t hear him or even see him sitting on Kazu’s shoulder his legs crossed in front of him.  He kept a grip of the fabrics of Kazu’s shirt in his fist so he couldn’t fall off.  “What is this place?”  Asked Kazu.  His eyes drawn to the decaying hospital behind them.  “It was a hospital back in the 60’s, but it caught fire.  Killing a lot of people, now it’s supposedly haunted.  People disappear here never to be heard from again.”  Stated Hisa who appeared giddy, Kazu guessed that she loved the adrenaline rush from fear.  “Aren’t you guys afraid to go in?  It just seems dangerous.” Said Kazu.  All the girls except Hikaru who merely grinned burst into laughter.  “Are you afraid?”  Even Dash was laughing when they asked him that.  “No I’m not, but if people go missing in there then shouldn’t you avoid it?”  “Awe he’s scared that’s so cute!”  giggled Fuji  She ran over and grabbed Kazu by his hand and began dragging him towards the hospital  “Don’t worry Kazu- kun I’ll protect you”  Dash was laughing so hard he fell off and was now rolling around on the sidewalk laughing hysterically.  “Kazu is going to lose his innocence in the scariest hospital on earth!”  He couldn’t stop laughing.  “Wait!”  Dash yelled from the ground his arm extended towards him.  The image was to cliché it had been used in almost every movie since the dawn of time.  Dash threw a used condom he had found on the ground towards him.  “Protect yourself Kazu!”  Dash started beating his fist on the ground.  Kazu stared blankly at him.  He hadn’t gotten the joke.  Once the devil had calmed down he cleared the distance of the street in a single bound.  Landing on Kazu’s left shoulder.  Fuji had her arms gripped tightly around his left arm.  Hikaru began passing out flashlights to them, and she even flashed a big smile when she gave Kazu his.  “Do I detect a hint of jealousy?”  Said Dash as he rubbed his nose with his index finger, Kazu didn’t respond.

                The inside of the hospital actually looked worst then the outside.  Apparently after the fire no one had even tried to clean it up.  There were brochures and pamphlets about medical procedures that had been held at the hospital strewn about the lobby.  To Kazu it hadn’t even seemed the fire did much damage, but it most likely had been farther inside.  Their flashlights danced about the walls.  The beams of light ran over tables’ desks chairs and the graffiti covered walls.  “Wow it’s creepy in here.”  Said Fuji.  She had long since let go of Kazu and was now looking around the front desk.  Kazu began moving down the hall.  The floor squeaked as he moved startling the girls.  He hadn’t even turned his flashlight on yet which scared the girls even more.  “He’s kind of weird.”  Whispered Hisa to the others.  Even Hikaru nodded slightly.  “Yea he is a little, but maybe he’s used to going into places like this.”  The other girls nodded too.  “This place is bizarre.”  Said Dash as he glanced around the long corridor, there were rooms on each side of the hallway.  Each one contained what you would expect, a bed a desk, and syringes on the floor.  Kazu opened another door.  This room showed signs of a fire.  One of the walls was scorched, and the room smelled of fire still.  “Familiar isn’t it.”  Dash said as he looked at the door they had entered from.  He was wondering if those girls could hear Kazu talking to him.  “A little yes.”  Kazu stared closely at the blackened wall.  “Shouldn’t we of seen more sign of a fire then just this wall?”  Dash shook his head in annoyance “who cares it doesn’t concern.”  He stopped and jerked his head around.  He was searching for something “The hall!”  Dash screamed.  Kazu took off as fast as he could burst through the door nearly knocking it off the hinges.  The girls screamed, Kazu had once again startled them.  He was looking frantically around the halls then took off running deeper into the hospital.  The girls chased after him shouting too him.  “What is it Dash?”  “Blood lust.”  Dash said nervously.  “Blood lust?” asked Kazu “Stop!”  Dash yelled.  His summoner came to an abrupt stop.  In their path a girl and two guys walked towards them.  The girls came up behind him breathing heavily.  “Hey have you five seen a guy wearing a skull cap and a blue jacket?” asked the girl in a panic.  “No we haven’t.”  Said Hikaru.  “Did you get separated from him?”  She asked.  The girl went silent.  “Stop worrying so darn much.  The kitty probably just got scared and ran out.  He said he didn’t want to come in here anyway.”  Said one of the guys, the girl sighed “yea you’re probably right.”  “I hope you find him” Hikaru smiled.  Dash glared down the hall.  “Get them out of here Kazu.  Piss them off or whatever I don’t care just get them to leave.”  “Get out.”  Kazu didn’t turn around to say it.  “Huh?”  The girls seemed to ask in unison.  Kazu turned and gave them a menacing gaze.  “Leave.”  He said again.  Then walked deeper into the hospital.  “Wow he seems to be a little pissed off.  Wonder what crawled up in his ass.” Said one of the girls’ friends.

                Kazu waited around one of the corners of the hall.  Thank fully the girls had listened to him.  “Dash looked around at the different corridors then looked up and then down.  “We need to find the stairs.”  “Ok.”  Said Kazu.  He walked blindly around the corridors checking every sign he could find until he found one that had an arrow and a picture of a flight of stairs.  He followed the arrow and threw a doorway bring him to a stair well that went both higher and below to the basement.  “Which way?”  “Down.”  Said Dash “it’s below us.”  Kazu took the stairs down. It was a long way till he reached the basement, but as soon as he touched the floor a chill ran up his spine, exactly as it had in his dream.  “Blood.”  Dash sad sniffing the air.  “Someone just died.  The smell of blood is fresh.”  Kazu cautiously moved forward through the big menacing metal door in front of him.  It leads him into a pitch black corridor.  “Corpses” Dash was once again sniffing the air.  “Lots of them.”  Kazu was now at the end of the hallway, standing in front of another door.  He reached out to it, but then he stopped when he heard it.  The sound of the demons feast, that sound of slurping and chewing that had disturbed his sleep.  He turned the knob and slowly pushed the door open.  It moved with a shriek of metal.  The air turned ice cold as the two summoners stood in each other’s presence.  Sitting in a dimly lit room.  This had at one time served as the hospitals morgue.  Sat a teenage boy much like Kazu.  He had long dirty black hair and had his back turned to them.  Next to him chewing on a human finger was a tiny devil.  It looked exceptionally human and like the child had dirty black hair.  The boy turned just noticing his presence.  Blood dripped from his jaws.  In his hands were the remains of a phemer bone picked clean of flesh.  He breathed with a wheeze.  Dash didn’t respond, but the other devil grinned when he saw him.  “Seconds.”  The other devil said, and a smile crossed the blood soaked boys face.  After devouring the missing person he was still hungry.  The cannibalistic boy rushed towards them.  He was surprisingly fast Kazu managed to duck avoiding a punch that might have knocked his head clean off his shoulders.  The boy growled at him and swung his legs at Kazu.  Dash jumped off and punched him knocking him through the door they had entered from.  The boy stood up hunched over.  His arms swung limply as he moved from side to side.  “Creepy bastard isn’t he?” Dash stood on the ground in between the boy and his own summoner.  Dash was suddenly struck by something.  It looked like a green whip as it moved through the air.  When it stopped Kazu saw that it looked like the stem of a rose.  It was even equipped with sharp thorns extending from it.  Dash pulled himself out of a hole in the cement wall.  “My name is Thorn.”  The other devil said.  “I can’t kill you without an introduction.”  Dash laughed “I could care less that the hell you are.”  His face turned cold and serious.  “Because now I have to kill you.”  Dash shot out from the wall at Thorn, but several thorny vines shot up from the ground blocking his path.  The red Devil jumped back and tried to move around them but the vines once again moved to block his path.  They once again lashed out at them.  Dash made a point to stay close to the ground and if he had to jump to either make contact with the ceiling as soon as possible.  Since he was unable to dodge in midair, in his current form at least.  The little red devil moved side to side avoiding each of the vines as it lashed out at him.  Kazu had to act as well.  He rushed the nameless summoner who hadn’t moved from the doorway.  A vine erupted from the ground in front of him sending him hurtling into the air.  A mist of blood came from his mouth as he felt the summoners’ foot smash into his ribs sending him crashing into the cold hard ground.  Kazu struggled coughing to his feet.  His clothes were soaked in blood.  This is where they had been eating.  The sight of so much blood sent him into a panic.  His heart was racing.  He was afraid.  The thorned vines shot around him, and enclosed on him.  Kazu managed to get his arms up just in time.  His hands kept the vines at bay as they tried to constrict around him.  He pulled his legs in and put them against the vines.  Taking care to avoid the thorns, he was safe for now.  Dash turned to see his trapped master, but the vines wrapped around him.  The sharp thorns dug into his body.  “Ah!”  Dash screamed out.  “Dropped our guard didn’t we.”  Kazu was still stuck.  If he tried to drop to safety the vines would possible crush his skull, but if his arms and legs gave out it would be a similar outcome that also resulted in his death.  “Kazu.”  He looked towards Dash.  “Give me your consent.”  He shook his head.  “Break the seal!  Hurry!”  The vines tightened around his tiny body.”  Kazu’s right arm slipped freeing the vine.  One of the thorns dug into his shoulder.  He began to bleed profusely from the wound.  Below him the boy stood.  Catching the blood in his mouth, “you like that don’t you?”  Thorn asked his summoner.  The boy didn’t respond.  Thorn smiled as the thorns jerked down forcing the wound to open wider.  “Die.”  The boy was knocked to the floor Kazu stood on top of Thorns summoner.  His foot bearing down on his skull.  The vines lashed out at him.  He managed to avoid them by somersaulting backwards.  The vines around Dash were pushed back, and he slipped to freedom.  His face was even more serious than before.  He disappeared, this time he was too fast for the vines to even catch him.  He slammed thorn into the wall behind him.  One of the vines came towards him, but he merely knocked it away with a swing of his arms.  “I never told you who I am.  My name is Dash.”  A sinister smile crossed his face as his opponents face contorted with fear.  Several vines shot through the wall behind thorn.  Dash moved back to avoid them, but Thorn vanished in the cover of the debris.  His summoner had also escaped in the confusion.  “Damn coward ran for it.  Just when I was enjoying myself too.”  Snorted Dash.  He glared at Kazu “why didn’t you give me your consent.  In my true form they would’ve been killed easily.”  Kazu looked down.  “I’m sorry.  If I had though well, you remember the contract don’t you.  The price of your true form.”  Dash once again gave that sinister grin of his.  “I’m surprised you remembered.”  His jaw dropped. “You just wanted me to give you my consent didn’t you?”  Dash gave a big sigh.  “I’m only kidding calm down.  It wasn’t necessary, and besides we need to get your wounds taken care of before you bleed to death.”  Dash gave a huge grin “Lets steal some medical supplies while were here.  I’m sure they have some.”
