well it depends theres certin things a ninja can do that samurai cant and vice versa like a ninja is skilled at long distance killing but faced with close range the samurai has an advantage as far as the life goes id rather be a ninja since u can wander when ur a samurai ur job is to protect ur lord and ruler at all times so yea in the end if i had to choose ninja either is a respectable life tho
