What's in a name?
Whenever the main character of a book (or movie, or TV show, or whatever) is named Aiden, I find that I cannot bring myself to read it. The main reason why is because my little brother's name is Aiden, and whenever i hear that name, that's who i automatically think of. So instead of liking the main character so much I obsess over him like other girls, I feel repulsed by him and refuse to watch/read that show/book. For example, in Annette Curtis Klause's Blood and Chocolate (the book; the movie sucks), I can't help but think 'No, ew' when Vivian falls in love with the "meat boy," Aidan, while all my friends are like 'Go for it!' y'know? I wonder if this is normal for other people.
