Heatwave and Lines
ugh...there's nothing worse than sweat soaking the back of your shirt...except sweating behind the knees and then sitting down. It's so hot today; hotter than it has been all summer, and the typical northeastern humidity isn't helping. during the last week, temperatures out west broke record highs and fourteen people died of heat stroke. and we're expected to get that weather this week. last night i ran nearly two miles and barely broke a sweat. all i did today was go shopping, where i was mostly in the air conditioning, and the back of my jersey was sticking to my back with sweat.
I officially hate the BMV (Bureau of Motor Vehicles). I went to go get my temporary license, and ended up standing in line for an hour and a half, just to get my ID photo taken. And now i have to go back next week just to take the frickin' test and then wait in line again, because they close at two o'clock PM.
