I took a step forward not sure that I wanted to go to this human. He had long silver hair that was streaked with blood. Now that I was closer I could see that the feathers on his wings were ruffled some of them even seemed burnt. I took the jacket that I was wearing and laid it over him as best as I could but I was smaller so it did not cover very much. The wind was shifting again so I tensed up this was not what I needed at this time but this thing that was coming was evil. And it came with evil intent. I turned and faced it and was filled with anger at once. A demon from one of the seven hells dared to come to my forest. I had told them that I would not tolerate that. I was going to burst I could feel the anger gathering and I did not wish to fight it this time.
“You dare enter my territory you vile abomination?” I called to it. I didn’t care how ugly or powerful it was it could not touch me or anything that I protected on my land and it would do well to remember that.
“ Give me the winged one and I will let you live puny human.”
Oh so it thought I was a human. It must have been a lower demon. “ I will not hand him over and you had best leave my land now.” I stayed calm not wanting to lose my temper right now.
It had the nerve to laugh at me so I decided to stop playing. The vines around the trees wrapped him in a solid cocoon braking his wings in the process the cries of the demon did not effect me. They are vile creatures and I did not like dealing with them.
“ You are to leave here and warn the others that if any of you come on my land again you will be killed on the spot.” I smiled at it. “ Do you understand?” I asked making the vines squeeze tighter so it could barley breath.
All it did was nod because that is all that it could do I released it and the creature disappeared. Then I was left with the creature of light that was awake and now watching me.
