There were people talking, almost in whispers like the words were barley touching their lips. But something wasn’t right. It was cold and I could feel the goose bumps rising up on my arms. Was I awake? No, the air was too dense and thick, and it felt like someone was watching me, like some type of intensity was burning a hole through me. The darkness just seemed to take over me, like the darkness was alive. The accident with Faith was running through my head over and over again.  What happened? I was just walking back towards the building and then a car was flying and it was about to hit me. Oh god, was I hit? Am I dead? I started to think about my family and how I didn’t even get to say good bye to them. I could feel the darkness start to pull me down, but then I started to hear voices……………… they were talking about……………..a person…”Do you think she is ok?” I think it was a boy talking, his voice sounded as soft as velvet.  “I didn’t know that she would over react like that. She can have a bit of anger problem at times.” I was still being pulled under, into darker places, I knew if I went into the darker places that I would never come back. “Ok let’s get her back before people notice.” I could feel my body start to move, whatever was holding was cold, no not cold……………freezing like they were frozen for hundreds of years and they just melted out of a huge block of ice. I could feel the wind whip around my face. Were we moving? I was still sinking father, father into the darkness. Just before in knew I was going to pass out I heard something that made my skin crawl. “Why did she through the car?” It was a girl talking, it almost sounded like Kate’s voice. There was a long pause, almost too long……………

………………..”She didn’t want her prey to escape”…………………………….all went black. “Alexa, honey wake up” “W-what it is it?” I slowly open my eyes to a worried mother. “Honey, are you alright?” Wait what happened; didn’t a car just hit me? Or did I just dream this all up? My head was spinning and I felt sick to my stomach. “Um, I am alright. When did I get back?” “What, honey you never left” I looked up at my mother’s worried face, she really meant it, she thinks that I never left. “Oh, well I………………..um…………. I could never stand lying to my mother; I would always feel bad after. “I was at work and I called the house because, I left the dishwasher on for too long and I was going to ask you to turn it off, but you never picked up, I called another three hours later and you still didn’t pick up, so I was starting to get worried. I came back to the house to see if you were alright, and I find you on your bed screaming.” I was screaming? “Ya, I was just about to let you sleep some more and then all of a sudden you started screaming and then you were talking about something, like a car was about to hit you………..or something like that.” I had a feeling like my mother wasn’t going to let this go. “I think it was just a bad dream, that’s all.” A bad dream, ya just a bad dream.
