I can't believe its already been six years

a lot has changed since you passed on...

I feel like everyone is slowly starting to drift apart

You were the glue that held us all together,

but now that you're gone that glue is dissolving.

I'm trying to keep everyone close,

but I don't hahve the strength that you did.

There are things that changed for the better and for the worse...

I just wish you were here to see those

possitive changes and offer your wisdom for the worse.

Though I haven't changed much when I was twelve,

I've matured a lil bit.

I can recall a few of the things you used to tell me...

Like how you could picture me as a very stylish teen or

how bright I am...

Your words of knowledge, love, and boundless wisdom

I can remember how everyone would go to you

with a problem or when they just needed some comfort.

But now, it seems that they've started to forget...

Almost like your hard work has been

taken in vain and it makes me sad...

It seems so few can remember now and even though I

can still feel your presence sometimes, I fear that if I'm not careful...

I will soon forget as well...

I don't want to remember just your delicious home-cooked meals,

your singing and rocking me back to sleep after I had

a nightmare, or how you'd tell me secrets...

But who you were and still are to me...

You're my grandmother, a brilliant woman whom I look up to,

and most of all.....

The best friend I know I'll ever have.

I miss you and I love you....always.....
