The light of the three moons shone down onto the small wooden huthch hidden in the White Forest. A scarlet -haired Ilumian woman was exhausted after giving birth to her child,her pale  featherd wings quivvering.

"What will you name  her?" her midwife asked wiping the sweat  from her brow

"Angelique,"she sighed."Angel of the  Three Moons"then..she slipped into darkness.......

    A young woman with long scarlet hair waded waist deep into the water.This pool was special to her ever scince she was a small child. "The Pool of Faded Memories" was a place where decendants of the"First Walkers" could relive their past lives through out the Cycle of Souls.The "First Walkers" were the very first  Illumians( the children that the Godess Yue  bore to the first man created from the elements; Earth, Water and Wind .(There are 6 elements ,and 2 alpha elements that create all that is living;Earth, Water ,Wood ,Wind,Fire,and Metal.The alpha elements are; Light and Dark....) 

"Mother.....what have you been trying to tell me?? These feelings of regret...hate,even some  emotions I cannot understand. What does it all mean??" her voice was quiet and gentle.her move ments she did with great elegence...after all Angelique was what the people of  Gaima call....one of the Nephelie.

  A pale blue orb of light rested in delicate fingers. Angelique’s fire touched hair was pulled back in a tight bun, long tresses hanging down her back.

 the small wooden hut was silent , except for the woman's soft humming.

 a knock came at the door.

   "who is it?" she sighed,sounding a little annoyed.

  "It's me ...Suki...can I... come in?"

Angelique smiled,"You may..."

  Suki was a softspoken and  timid girl. She chose to hide herself by wearing long robes...but this usually led to her tripping or knocking over things with the large sleeves. Angelique was one of her only friends. Her selfconcious nature usually made people beleive she was antisocial. Despite this Angelique was very close to her , and stood by her side...always.

 "The new moon is approaching......are you sure youre ready?"Suki's voice sounded frightened.

  "I'll be fine...I've been preparing for this my whole life,"Angelique reassured her.

 "but, wont it be ...painful??"

 "the pain i endure is nothing compared to what everyone will withstand ,if choose not to accept."
