Finally!  Available to view, 8 pretty pictures!!  As I finish, I'll be putting up more.  These represent about the last 2 years of stuff I've completed.  I know that sounds like a long time for such small yield, but I've been working on a lot of stuff, including a few paintings, a short one-off comic, and a really long series I've been trying to build for the last 8 years or so. 

Lately I've been doing a lot on my big series, but I've also been concentrating on some religious iconographical stuff.  I'm not talking about nativities either.  I'm wiccan, so it gets a bit different, although some things remain intrinsically the same.  I'm almost done with my painting of night-woman, a goddess I've been compiling images for, including the cauldron of the void, and also of Juno, as she approaches Jove, surrounded by Peacock feathers.  No, I'm not an avid fan of Hercules the Legendary Journies, although I do watch it, it's actually symbolism I've learned through a mythology class I took.  We looked at a lot of the images and archetypes associated with the different gods and legends, so that I can look at an amphora or an urn and decipher the story painted on the side.  Well, some of the time.  You have to be really into the details sometimes.

I can't help it, I really really like art history!
