I got some request asking me to show my studio, so I think it should be fun to show it here as well. ^_^

My work space is part of my bedroom...it's tiny and I used 2/3 of my room for the working area. Well, I guess the only space is not art related is my bed and the closet. (It's so messy and I don't have the guts to show it, lol)

First, the drawing area:


I use this table for all the traditional stuff, like penciling and painting. I like to draw on the lightbox because it's smoother than my table and I get used to it back in the school day. I keep a mirror in front of me for the quick reference. Those two manikins come in handy when I draw tough pose like foreshortening and the winkles on the clothes. I bought a lot of different "Barbie" clothes for them and those are really good to study how the clothes fold in different poses. The windex is for monitors and drawing area cleaning...lol


I build my own computer, and this one is almost 2 years old. I'm think I will upgrade it next year, but may be I can't wait till then though. XD

I got the cintiq tablet last year, and Vol.2 was drawing with it. I think it is the best investment I made in my life~! It saves me a lot of time because I can draw more accurate on it...nothing beat the feeling of drawing directly on something, ^_^ Vol.1 was drawing with intuos2 tablet with the 2005FPW monitor.
