Lost Light
Darkness sorrounds me, filling me with grief. Leaving me breathless and without a belief. I trod the world, perpetually alone. Searching for light, and a place to call home. There was a time when I actually felt love. I felt as happy and nimble as a gallant white dove. But one day, I was plagued with sorrow. For I realized, my light had no tomorrow. My glimmer of hope, my ember of light... One day it left me, it simply took flight. My world lost it's color, my dreams were forsaken. I was confused, since my light was just taken. Tears filled my eyes and agony stilled my voice. I felt alone, like I had not a choice. To follow my light, that was my plan. I was followed by darkness so I simply ran. Now, I keep running, hiding my pain. I await for my death, as the sky fills with rain. There is no meaning to life, no reason to fight. I am nothing now that I've lost my light.
Together they were one
Apart they were lost
In her eyes he knew who he was
Through his love she found herself
Face to face they lie sharing their secret life
Nowhere to turn but each other
Life in this world, above it they hover
Theres no wonder then why together they lived and together they died
Their thoughts had nowhere to hide but in their blood
Blood thats cryin out from the basement floor
"I love you" "Forever and always"
Chase away the clouds 'cause I;m searching for the sun,
But the only thing I found was that you are the one.
