I prefer the spelling "Vampyre". I have to agree with you about the excessive clans. Lots of people just consider them a role-playing opportunity I suppose.

blah, blah, blah...all these stupid vamp clubs....is anyone here an actual vamp? if not why the heck is the clan's name BLOOD VAMPIRE, and if any of you know, it's spelled vympyre, in romanian, which is the orginal spelling.
